I had been trying to find a small tree for my small apartment for weekS. My main concern was box size for after-season storage. Happy to report the box is very slender, if long (about 2.5’), and will be easy to store in small closets or under a bed. Easy to assemble and fluff. The real wood looks great and really makes the semi-sparse branches look even cuter. Haven’t put ornaments or lights in yet, and won’t for a while, but I’m hoping the sparse branches really give room for the ornaments to hang properly and be the star of the show. I’d have done it by now but the wrong color lights showed up with my order so need to exchange those first. My ONLY complaint is that the hole drilled in the base/trunk section of wood was crooked. So the tree sits crooked on the stand no matter how you turn it. Before deciding to return it over this I stood on the flat base and gently pushed the tree which bent the stand post and straightened the tree. ... show more

The tree was easy to assemble and looks naturally beautiful and perfect in the space of my historic home. However, I can see why some of the comments stated that the branches of the tree did not last. While one of the bottom branches was barely attached (which is why I did not give this product a 5 star rating), it was an easy fix. I will NOT be storing this tree in its box since I can also see how the branches would become loose from opening and closing them. So, I will be storing it upright, with lights attached, in my basement enveloped in clear plastic bags . Only weighing ten pounds, it will be very easy to transport upstairs fully set up for next year. All in all, it is beautiful and just what I was looking for! I love this tree! Fits perfectly in the corner and has the quirkiness to make it stand out compared to the "typical" Christmas tree. To clear up some things I have read in other reviews: yes... it requires ALOT of floofing after being crammed in a tiny box. Mine did have the wood split in a couple places but it's not structurally compromised (or at least mine wasnt) and it has character and the fact it has a wooden trunk was a selling point to me Alot had issues with the gap when putting it together.... I tapped mine together with a rubber mallet and voila! The gap is gone. This tree can easily be used for just winter decor... which adds value IMO. It also fits in small spaces without looking cramped. But keep that in mind before purchase. If you want a full filled out tree... this isnt it. The long exposed trunk allowed for me to give it a potted look without issues. (Mine is sitting in a $1 plastic laundry basket covered in a burlap coffee bean sack) I also put bricks on the stand to make sure it doesnt knock over. It is unlit. I used 1 strand of fairy lights (72 ft I think....) I will be ordering a 2nd strand to pull off the look I'm going for but fairy lights do great for this tree. This was my quick fix purchase for a manageable, attractive solution for a Christmas tree this past season. Time was closing in on me & I wanted something unique, easy to assemble, authentic to my woodsy, Earthy style. It worked! Thank you Amazon Prime for helping to make it all happen! It looks like someone went out into the forest & found the perfect tree & brought it back to the cabin. It did take us a minute to get used to the skinny style, but we soon loved the simplicity of stringing only 1 strand of lights & decorating with our fav handful of ornaments to make it very pretty & complete, almost in an instant, after I spent a little time un-squishing it from the packaging! I noticed it only when I took it down...the trunk must have split slightly during manufacturing & a tonal, brown glue was used to fill it in. It seems like it will hold up & isn't all that obvious...my only reason for minus 1 star. I do hope it lasts for years to come! The branches are realistic & strong enough to hold heavier ornaments. For someone looking for a rustic, unique option for a Christmas tree, this is it! ... show more

My husband and I decided we wanted a “holiday” tree to keep up year round, and it had to fit our small space living in an apartment. This tree was tedious to fluff up all the branches one by one, but the end product is worth it. My issues with the tree are as follows: I had to take a power drill and make the hole larger for the top to fit on correctly, which made a mess in my living room, but I eventually got it on. Also, the tree wasn’t cut perfectly straight, so it slants slightly, noticeable enough to drive me crazy, but not noticeable enough for guests to notice LOL. I plan on having my husband cut it more evenly this summer. Overall, slightly a pain in the butt to fluff, and having had to drill the hole larger and straighten out the tree cut this summer, but it looks darn good in our living, so can’t complain too much! ... show more
