Floats well, goes on easily, trims easily to fit your pool. Heats the top portion of the water very well on good sunny days (sometimes almost too hot). Going to combine this with an additional pumped heating system to try and get a few more weeks of pool time this year.

Definitely got good use out of this cover. It keeps the water at least 10° warmer, so makes night swims possible. Its not super thick or heavy, so for me, it was easy to roll and unroll myself. It held up 1 summer and looks like we will get several more out of it easily.

Anyone that reviewed and said it didn't last a season, failed to mention their water chemistry was off. Poor water chemistry will eat plastic. The same reason some of them have AGP pools with bleached liners. It even says it on the warranty card. Just because the water is clear doesn't mean your water is correct.

I purchased this solar cover July 26, 2022, and it began coming apart at the seams when we were finally able to put on our pool in late August (waited for new liner). Cover defective, they sent a new one at end of season last year. So we have this new solar cover, opened pool in June and this cover is also defective - it's layers are coming apart (delamination they say). They replaced my solar cover with another defective solar cover. I submit for warranty, they want $90 to replace ANOTHER DEFECTIVE COVER! You are in the second year of your warranty they say, are you kidding me?? You've given me 2 DEFECTIVE SOLAR COVERS . I'm dealing with this on a 1.5HP with on/off switch too, the switch gets stuck, they say defective. Send to us and when we verify we have it, we'll send you another one. Another defective one?? In the middle of hot August you want me to sit here without a pool pump while you VERIFY FOR WEEKS IF YOU RECEIVED IT??? They said I could buy another and then ship the other back for full credit on purchase since that one is in first year......it's probably defective too, we are right in middle of it. From my experience, it appears they are selling defective products and replacing with defective products, trying to make money with their DEI warranty company. They never had that before, but there is a reason for it. Go find a reputable company, there are many honest company's out there with solar covers. If you buy from here, don't expect more than a season, if that, from it.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I got the 18’ round cover & love it! It’s sturdy & well worth the price. Easy to put on & it just floats on top of the water. We have a lot of wind here so I clamp the edges of the cover to the rail of the pool. The fit is just big enough to allow the clamping. Keeps the water super warm & prevents the leaves & other things to land in the water.

I needed to replace mine this year and found this one at a very reasonable price. I can only compare it to the one I had which lasted about 6 years. This one seems to be the same quality and I expect to get many years of use with it. There is a lot of disagreement as to weather solar covers really work to warm the water. I say YES. Defiantly works! The downside is, solar covers are a real pain to put on and take off. For me, its worth the pain.
