Ok, so for the price , which was pretty affordable compared to most other options on Amazon that I found, this is definitely a great tie out stake! •super easy installation- it comes with pads for the turn pole so ur not killing ur hands while screwing this into the ground •very good hold- my dog is super strong tho small- she weighs about 40 lbs but packs a major punch and pull- this stale yanked her off her feet the first time she charged and tried to pull outside of her “zone” . She literally backflipped head over heels and the stake didn’t move! I was thoroughly impressed with the stability! •doesn’t stand out so you can’t really tell it’s there so it isn’t ugly when nothing is attached •easy to take back out and move locations •comes with a brush to remove dirt and debris THE ONLY FAULT WITH THIS: My dog gets the cord tangled around her feet- I’m unsure if this would happen with any tie out stake or not- this is the first I’ve tried bc I’ve always been nervous about them being pulled out bc I’ve always had powerful pups in my family . So that may be something that is unavoidable- therefore I did it remove any stars for this . However I did want to make a note of it . Overall this stake seems to be a fantastic value for the price I paid : especially in comparison to others I viewed on Amazon. Note: I am an older woman with a balance issue and I’m not especially strong however I was able to score this into my ground, a combination of soil, sand , gravel and rock, and I had no issues! It was much easier than I had anticipated!

This was surprisingly easy to screw into the ground and my dog took to it right away. He can't tolerate a collar but the cable worked beautifully with his harness. I highly recommend.

This is a nice kit for the price. Unfortunately, it only lasted 3 months before it broke into 2 pieces. But I have a very large German Sheppard. It would be great for a medium to small size dog.

Not much to say about this. It came on time which is important to me. Product seems of good quality and handles made it easy to put in the ground. So far so good. I'm happy with it. 4 out of 5 only because that's how I rate. Longevity will make it a 5. Time will tell.

My very muscular dog cannot pull out the stake, so yes very sturdy and holds well in the ground. The leash is on a swivel so it doesn't get caught up in the stake. I don't leave it in the ground so I can't speak to rust, but use it when we go to a BBQ etc. Worth it.

Absolute trash. I bought this for my 10 week husky in March of 2025. I have even had this for two weeks and the spring loaded hook began rusting. After a couple more weeks, it rusted so bad, the spring wouldn’t close the hook anymore and my dog kept getting out. Today, I’m doing yard work and my dog comes up behind me and kisses me, the only problem is the leash isn’t long enough to let her where I was in the yard. I look down, she’s still connected, however the cable snapped. I certainly won’t be buying anything else from this company.
