Very strong hold for very big dogs.

If you have and can use a drill this was easy. We can’t have our dogs off leash. And when we are outside at a park or camping holding them by there leases all the time is not fun or relaxing. We have 100 lbs and 75 lbs dogs. Once the base was set in the ground and the leashes hooked to it with the other end hooked to there collars the base didn’t budge. As in absolutely not going anywhere! We needed to get a couple of shorter Leeds because the leafs the product came with was much longer than we needed or wanted. We got 3ft leads and they worked perfectly! We positioned the bases far enough apart so that they didn’t get tangled with each other, but could still lay next to one another. 10 out of 10 recommend!!

Not for small dogs

This is NOT for little dogs. So the weight range that it gives you is not accurate. My 10 lb cockapoo's neck was weighed down by the weight of the latch and cable. I LOVE the actual 360 swivel dog tie out. But, if you have a small dog, you need to purchase a light cable separately.

It works!!

Love this! My dog is strong and so far it's only been a couple days but I don't think he's going to be able to pull this out of the ground. I had used a cinder block and he would pull it across the yard if he wanted that squirrel bad enough.

This product is well built!!!! The screw bolts are thick and strong !! We have dogs who pull hard and it does not budge. The rotating loop is great. No tangling lines!!! 5 stars!

Perfect for what I need

I live in an apartment where my backyard is an open grass area that is shared by my neighbors. I have two medium-sized dogs and needed a good way to have them both go into the backyard while being tethered to our patio. This was perfect! with how it's grounded, its able to withstand the force of both dogs and has such a low profile that it doesn't cause problems with the landscaping crew. Time will tell how it holds up to the elements and wear and tear.

Solid, Low-Profile Dog Anchor with Easy Installation

Things I Like Switching from a traditional twist-in anchor to this low-profile stake was a big improvement. It’s installed close to the ground, which minimizes tripping—a major plus. Installation was quick and easy, especially with the included driver bit, which worked perfectly with my impact driver. From unboxing to fully installed took less than two minutes! The materials seem durable enough for most uses, with a sturdy build that feels reliable. The 360° swivel function works as promised, letting my dog roam freely without tangling. Things I Dislike While the quality is good for the price, it doesn't feel ultra-premium. I’ll have to see how it holds up over time to judge its weatherproofing claims fully. For now, it’s holding strong, but there’s some question as to whether it’ll stay rust-resistant long-term. Value vs. Price This anchor and tie-out offer a solid value at a fair price. Considering similar products on Amazon, this one does a great job balancing functionality with affordability. So far, it's worth it, and with some solid durability, it could be a great long-term solution for keeping my dog safely anchored.

Handy for dog tie out; corrosion resistant

I mounted this base to a wooden retaining wall to let the dog hang out with me in the front yard while I work. The unit comes with long ground screws but I used 1 1/2" long galvanized lag bolts and stainless washers to to mount it to the landscape tie wall. The tie-out eye swivels and pivots freely but isn't noisy and floppy. The10 foot length scrawny picture-wire gauge cable that comes with the unit is not confidence inspiring, so I swapped it out with a longer, beefier cable. I think it will last about 5-10 years in the weather here in the southeast. So far I've used it to hold two 35lb dogs on a Y-leash and it's held up fine, showing no distortion or floppiness. The tie-down eye is properly sized to allow most bolt snaps to easily attach.. At under 30 dollars (April 2025) for a stainless tieout base, I think it a fair value.
