This was SO fun to put together. I say this now but I do recall my husband saying "I thought these were supposed to be relaxing", as I swore like a trucker for the 100th time after dropping some tiny piece I was trying to construct. There are some very frustrating pieces like the tea pot that are truly a challenge because they are so tiny. I do not recall if there was glue provided, I always use superglue and clear Elmers for the minis I have made. I do not know how one would make some of the tiny things without superglue. I found the directions easy to follow and the pieces were easy to pop apart or cut, no missing pieces. I will warn you to pay particular attention to how the lighting is to run, I messed up a few things and had to splice the wires together and the back of the house is a mess. No one would know but me and everything works. All in all this is absolutely adorable and fun to make. I love it!! ... show more

I am absolutely hooked on putting together these miniature houses and book Nook kits. This one is a bit different than the ones I'm used to as there are no wooden pieces to punch out. There is a bit of cut and paste with paper, but not too much. A ton of creating different plants which I enjoy. I have a bad habit of customizing these and with this one, I'm turning the pond into a Zen garden so placement of plants and trees are definitely going to go against the instructions. Speaking of trees.. this kit calls you to build a, what looks like, weeping willow. You twist together wire but then they give you "clay" to mold around the wire. This is the weirdest clay I've ever. It feels like foam and doesn't dry hard. An interesting substance that I'd be interested in working with more. Anyway, I'm not done building it yet but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Note, this kit doesn't come with glue so if you're ordering it, order some glue too if you don't already have some. Take your time, enjoy! ... show more

This was a fun mini build, though the spacing with the little bridge gave me some trouble. I like all of the different areas in the finished product. This is a kit where you assemble each piece, which I enjoy and look for. The details are great. Probably not great for younger kids.

I’ve built several miniature house kits, and this is by far the most confusing one I’ve worked on. The instructions are unclear and make the assembly much more difficult than it should be. The kit also has major quality issues. The glue, which is shown as being included, was missing from the package. On top of that, several pieces were missing, making it impossible to complete the build as intended. Even the parts that were included don’t fit together well, and there’s no good way to get many of them to stay in place. Overall, this was a very frustrating experience. After this, I’ll be sticking with Rolife kits, which have been much better designed and packaged. I’m very disappointed with this purchase and can’t recommend this kit. ... show more

10/10 would build again. It came out really cute! Had to create a new bridge bc my cat destroyed the original but there was enough materials left over. It took about a week to put together. Instructions are good at the beginning and then get a little sparse, and I was missing a piece or two but was able to make do. Overall a really fun project!! ... show more

When I asked my nephew what he wanted for his birthday, he told me "a house" as a joke, so for his birthday I got him a house. He's been studying Japanese, so I thought this would be perfect. I haven't gotten to see the finished product yet, but I was told he was very excited to put it together and was trying to find a way to put it in his lizard cage so his house gecko could live inside it. I have been told it is finished, but I just keep forgetting to ask to see it. Either way, he enjoyed it and said he loved it, even if it was the result of a sarcastic response. ... show more
