This was SO fun to put together. I say this now but I do recall my husband saying "I thought these were supposed to be relaxing", as I swore like a trucker for the 100th time after dropping some tiny piece I was trying to construct. There are some very frustrating pieces like the tea pot that are truly a challenge because they are so tiny. I do not recall if there was glue provided, I always use superglue and clear Elmers for the minis I have made. I do not know how one would make some of the tiny things without superglue. I found the directions easy to follow and the pieces were easy to pop apart or cut, no missing pieces. I will warn you to pay particular attention to how the lighting is to run, I messed up a few things and had to splice the wires together and the back of the house is a mess. No one would know but me and everything works. All in all this is absolutely adorable and fun to make. I love it!!

I am absolutely hooked on putting together these miniature houses and book Nook kits. This one is a bit different than the ones I'm used to as there are no wooden pieces to punch out. There is a bit of cut and paste with paper, but not too much. A ton of creating different plants which I enjoy. I have a bad habit of customizing these and with this one, I'm turning the pond into a Zen garden so placement of plants and trees are definitely going to go against the instructions. Speaking of trees.. this kit calls you to build a, what looks like, weeping willow. You twist together wire but then they give you "clay" to mold around the wire. This is the weirdest clay I've ever. It feels like foam and doesn't dry hard. An interesting substance that I'd be interested in working with more. Anyway, I'm not done building it yet but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. Note, this kit doesn't come with glue so if you're ordering it, order some glue too if you don't already have some. Take your time, enjoy!

10/10 would build again. It came out really cute! Had to create a new bridge bc my cat destroyed the original but there was enough materials left over. It took about a week to put together. Instructions are good at the beginning and then get a little sparse, and I was missing a piece or two but was able to make do. Overall a really fun project!!

When I asked my nephew what he wanted for his birthday, he told me "a house" as a joke, so for his birthday I got him a house. He's been studying Japanese, so I thought this would be perfect. I haven't gotten to see the finished product yet, but I was told he was very excited to put it together and was trying to find a way to put it in his lizard cage so his house gecko could live inside it. I have been told it is finished, but I just keep forgetting to ask to see it. Either way, he enjoyed it and said he loved it, even if it was the result of a sarcastic response.

Do not order from Goduqi, the instruction manual is not real good. The wooden pieces come already apart in a bag. It makes it very difficult to locate the pieces, they are not marked with the piece numbers, you have to go to the pattern sheet to compare the piece you want, which takes a lot of time. Sorry I can not recommend this company Also being the parts being painted or what ever is on them, the glue does not work as well.I just returned this item, when I got to the stairs, one of the stair risers was missing.

I have put mad several miniatures and this was by far the trickiest one I’ve made. All the material was there and the instructions were relatively easy to follow. The lights worked perfect and it looks super cute setting on my bookshelf. I hope to pass these on to future grandchildren.

A true DIY project. It’s very well made and I’m looking forward to getting creative. This isn’t those silly nobs stuck in holes pieces. You need patience, creativity and love a challenge to do these miniatures because you are literally making Everything, from couches to food on the tables you just made. You’ll need to provide your own glue, good tweezers, scissors and batteries. These rarely if ever come with all that. Great piece, better than expected.
