We put this in our feral cat house a couple months ago. We installed it on the ceiling of a 5 ft high cat house we built. Secured the cords with gorilla tape and ran it through a small hole to be plugged in outside. The house has an entry door and an escape door with a cat door between the inside, insulated side and the non-insulated side. We live in the PNW where it drops into the 20-30s. I have it set on 55 degrees and even with the two doors that allow cold air inside, this heater keeps the cat house at 55 without having to run all the time. It has a safety shut off if it gets overheated and also tip over shut off but it is mounted to the ceiling so the cats can't knock it over. The house is 5' X 8' wide and 5' tall. I recommend this heater for this size of a feral cat shelter.

I got this for my dog house and it’s not heating at all. It’s 45 outside and it’s set on 95 and hasn’t moved in 2 hours, only went down. I have a tarp over the dog house door also to keep the heat in. So sad this didn’t work.

It is easy to install and I already had the app on my phone for other smart devices I have. I see a lot of reviews that are complaining that it doesn't get to the temperature they have it set at but I ran some heat calcs and determined that a 500W heater is not big enough to heat my dog house to the temperatures that they are trying for.

This item continually gives an error code, you can unplug and the code goes away. However it may work for just a few hours on a couple of days. My window to return is no longer valid. How do i get my money back?
