I have a couple of different blades for my dog clippers. I love using the metal blades without the guard , they cut so smooth. Just like the other blades, these do get warm, so I rotate them. This blade cuts good. One thing I didn’t notice when I bought it was that the back blade is plastic. It does show that in the picture of the product, I just didn’t notice it. I needed the blade so I didn’t have time to send it back. I think my blades that don’t have plastic on them are a little smoother, but I am still happy with it. These clipped worse than my andes blades that had 10 full body clips on them. Horse kept acting like her hair was getting yanked instead of cut, and the final clip was probably the toughest I've done.
