Package arrived on time and in great shape. All pieces were there, in good shape, and functional. The clipper was even charged, but I plugged it in while I set up my grooming station outside. I have never cut hair on anything, including myself. Neither human nor animal. I watched a couple of YouTube videos. That was the extent of my training. My dog is little, a Malti-poo mix, and rather skittish. She’s never liked going to the groomer. But she was in desperate need of a haircut and the warm weather (soon to be hot) made it imperative. The reviews on this set seemed good... Well, let me just say these clippers worked great! They were easy to maneuver around her little body, and in about 25 minutes, she was trimmed and neat! I used mainly the clippers and a bit of scissors. (I did order a set of scissors and they arrive in a few days for our next beauty appointment!) No cries of pain from man nor beast, no blood, and a ton of hair floating around in the air. Now, don’t get me wrong, this is no dog show level grooming. I see spots I could have done better with. But she is so much happier to have all that hair gone, my wife thinks I’m a genius (of course!), the kids were floored by how cute she looks now, and we can go for our Covid walks without me feeling ashamed my dog looks so ratty, and I don’t have to worry about her overheating. All in all, a great product that feels solid in the hand, is quiet enough a skittish dog didn’t mind them at all, and very easy to operate. It’s already paid for itself! And I know I can keep her hair short all summer long without it costing a day of my time and an arm and a leg of money! A win for all! ... show more

I am a dog Groomer and love this clippers, in fact, I would not groom without it! I have purchased name brand small clippers from andis and wahl all are broken when they hit the floor! Not this little baby! she takes all the abuse a grooming salon can hand out! this clipper is also very quiet and I can use it in places that some dogs will freak about like the corners of eyes and to cleanup the inside of ears. I love that u can adjust the blade. the longest adjustment is equal to a 10 blade, I am not a fan of the clip on combs as this clipper is not something I use on a heavy coat..not that kind of power. This is the perfect tool for cutting freshly washed hair. works great on the hair between pads of feet, dog faces and private areas. it/s small enough to reach places u can't reach easily with a regular sized clipper like the tummy. its a tool I would be lost without in my grooming salon. I have several and keep them plugged in as the charge doesn't last over 40 minutes. but like I said, for the price and the durability I love this clipper. Its not something your going to use on a golden doodles body clip but it works great for the areas mentioned above! Get one! You will thank me when it hits the floor for the 5th time and all u need to do is pop the blade and the battery back in!! ... show more

The shears that came with the kit work great, they are quiet, and cut nicely. The only issue with the kit I had was that the nail clippers are cheaply made, and don't cut well. So invest in a separate pair of nail clippers if you get this kit.

I was skeptical of this razor because of the price, but I decided to listen to the reviews and gave it a chance. I am SO glad I did! We have Sylvie, a 23 pound (10.4 kg) monster of a cat who has a LOT of fluffy hair. A lot. Like, conceal your hand inside of his fluff, kind of a lot. His hair is extremely soft, and has clogged every razor that has ever tried to shave it. This razor plowed through his hair like butter and never clogged once! Normally, I don't let his fluff grow to full fluffage, but due to the fact my other razors couldn't do the job anymore, I had no choice. With that said, this razor had a huge job to do, and it did it with minimal effort. He did have a few mats on his chest, and I did have to go a little slower for the mats, but it still chewed through them with no issues. I didn't use the guards, due to the fact I like to get his hair as short as possible and I am confident I can do it without hurting him, so I can't say if the guards work well. They'll likely never be used by me. The manual said to apply oil before or after shaving, and since this razor had such a job ahead of it, I chose to apply the oil before and let it run for about 10 - 15 seconds to help distribute the oil. I wasn't concerned about noise level, since even the loudest razor attracts his attention and gets him excited (he loves being shaved), but this razor was much quieter than I expected! I've had electric toothbrushes that made more noise than this razor. Its noise did increase a little towards the end of his shaving session, probably because of all the hair on/in the razor (but it never clogged). Even then, it was still quieter than other razors I've used in the past. It took longer than I expected to charge up, I left it charging for over 3 hours, but the light was still red so I left it to charge overnight. It never lost any power shaving through his really thick, soft fur. Took about 30 minutes, if that, when it took me a combined total of 2 to 3 hours to shave him with other razors because his fur always clogs them up. I am left with a mountain of black and white soft hair, and a freshly shaved, really happy kitty. Could not possibly be happier with this razor! Side note: I know it has nothing to do with the product, but his hair is currently being plucked off the ground and out of a suet feeder by a titmouse and warbler. This razor not only helped make Sylvie more comfortable, but has helped supply some really soft hair for local bird nests. :) ... show more
