Love that they are solid and so cute and cushy comfortable seats. The backs seemed a bit flimsy to me and in the way for some larger adults with 'overhang' let us say. Some people like to center their body on a stool for the best stability. That's the reason for giving just a 4 star on the comfort. Without the backs they could get a 5 star. ... show more

Not bad but not great. For the money I suppose I can't be too disappointed with these. I bought two sets to use at the kitchen island in a new house. I like that they are adjustable and I like and wanted the more industrial look of these. They do adjust pretty easily but if you put them together and tighten the big nut down on he base they don't turn any more. The seats are not leather but pretty cheap looking vinyl and the foam under them is pretty hard. Just not all that comfortable but again, not bad for the price. We'll see if I end up finding something older and more "real industrial". ... show more

I really like these bar stools. They are sturdy without being bulky and they add a little character to my kitchen. It is easy to adjust the height and was easy to put together. I would highly recommend them. Good value for the money.

NO PLASTIC!!! All steel!! Made very well. I was concerned whether it would be stable, it was very stable.. Very impressive. Instructions were typical for China, but not hard to figure out.
