  • Easy setup and good value Easy setup and good value
The setup was much easier than I expected. I added it to my desk setup and had everything connected within minutes. One of the biggest advantages I found is having access to the Google Play Store, which gives you a lot more flexibility than a typical digital calendar. Makes it feel more like a tablet, but in a premium way since most calendars I shopped for had a generic built-in app. I primarily use it to keep track of upcoming calendar events and reminders on the Google Calendar, but it's also nice to be able to use other apps and entertainment options when I'm not working. The touchscreen is responsive, the display looks great on my desk, and it has ended up functioning as both a productivity tool and an extra screen throughout the day. ... show more

  • More Like an Android Family Hub Than Just a Calendar More Like an Android Family Hub Than Just a Calendar
I originally expected this to be a basic digital wall calendar, but it’s actually much closer to a large Android tablet/family dashboard. Once powered on, it gives access to Google apps, widgets, calendars, music, streaming, and general Android functionality, which makes it more flexible than I expected. The 21.5” display is the main selling point. It’s large enough to see schedules across the room, and the touchscreen responsiveness was better than I anticipated for this type of device. Setup took a little time initially since you’ll need to sign into Google and configure widgets/apps the way you want. What I liked most is that it doesn’t lock you into a super restrictive ecosystem. You can customize the layout, use Google Calendar widgets, access Gmail, Spotify, YouTube, Chrome, and basically treat it like a shared household information center. That said, the software still feels a little “Android tablet stretched to large screen” rather than a super polished premium smart-home appliance. You’ll occasionally notice menu quirks or slight lag navigating around settings. Orientation setup also took a minute to figure out initially. The frame/design looks clean in person and works well mounted vertically like a family planner or command center. Pros: * Large, easy-to-read touchscreen * Full Android functionality adds flexibility * Google Calendar integration works well * Useful as a family dashboard/home hub * Cleaner looking than using a regular tablet Cons: * Setup takes some configuring * Software isn’t perfectly polished * Occasional lag/menu quirks * More “Android smart display” than dedicated premium calendar appliance Bottom Line: Surprisingly versatile device if you want a shared digital family hub/calendar. Best for people comfortable customizing Android-based devices rather than expecting a super simplified plug-and-play experience. ... show more

  • Sleek Modern Display Sleek Modern Display
We setup the Mazera calendar in our kitchen, and it quickly became the main place where everyone checks their schedule. The display is bright, easy to read from across the room, and responsive when navigating through menus. It blends well with modern home decor and doesn't look out of place like some tech products can. The interface was easy enough for everyone in the household to learn. One small improvement would be adding additional widget color options for people who want a more personalized home screen. ... show more

  • Love access to all the apps Love access to all the apps
I really do love this thing and how well it works, but would I pay the current $350? Honestly, no. You can get almost the same experience using a much cheaper large tablet with the same apps. There has to be an app out there that gives you a home screen with your calendar, tasks, news, music, and all your important info — because that’s basically what this is. Setup was super easy — calendar, tasks, Google account, all of it. I love that it connects to the Google Play Store so you can download whatever you want, even Netflix or Spotify. You can also connect a mouse and keyboard, which makes typing way easier. The wall‑mount situation is weird, though. You can’t rotate it while it’s hanging. You have to physically take it off the mount, turn it, and put it back on. For something that costs $350, that feels like a design miss. It’s also surprisingly heavy, which again makes it feel like a small tv. I would prefer something like this be lighter. I planned to put it on a floating shelf but feel like it’s to heavy for that. It’s basically an overpriced smart TV, but it does look really good and it comes with a desk stand too. One thing I appreciated: it came with a USB cord and a screwdriver, even though the instructions don’t mention them. Packaging was excellent — my Amazon box was beat up, but the manufacturer’s box was perfect. I do wish it had more screensaver options, but maybe I can find an app for that. It syncs easily with Google so I can access tasks, Keep, Docs, everything. Spotify works too. The speakers aren’t great, though — I’d only use them if I had no other option because even my phone sounds better. Overall: I like it a lot, but it’s overpriced for what it is. If you want the look and convenience, it’s nice. But a cheaper tablet could probably do the same job and weigh a lot less. ... show more

  • Fantastic large tablet display Fantastic large tablet display
This is listed as a digital calendar, which it is, but it is so much more than that. It is a full-blown Android tablet. Ok, not quite, since it has no battery and therefore not portable, and no camera, but it has a very large touchscreen display, sound, and runs Android. I was able to test it out with Netflix, Prime Video, YouTube, Firefox, Outlook, and quite a few other apps. They all worked great. Couple things to note. The sound comes out the back. It isn't the best sound, in that it sounds boxy, but it can be turned up quite loud, unlike other "tablets". The swipe up to close apps or wake it from the screen saver has just a little bit of a lag, but not bad, once you realize it and then stop swiping up a couple times before it takes. The instructions basically just tell you how to setup the stand and wall mount, not how to actually setup the device itself. It also isn't clear on where the power cord plugs in, which is actually behind a panel in the back that you have to unscrew (see pic). A nice screwdriver is included. As far as setup, it has a wizard type process that it walks you through. It can take an existing device, like an android device or even an iPhone, and copy the settings from it. I have an iPhone and didn't realize it can use my phone to set it up, so I had already set it up manually. I have no idea how it would copy the settings from an iPhone. It has a preconfigured widget that consist of the date/time and monthly calendar that appears at the top of each page. You can customize the widgets that are displayed by tapping on the screen and holding down until it goes into edit mode. You can even layer widgets on top of each other. The bottom section is reserved for all the apps. If you swipe all the way to the right, you'll get a screen that you can add whatever widgets you want on the entire screen and resize them. Just tap and hold in any blank part, and it will ask what widget you want to add. Select it, along with what layout you want, then you can drag it into position and resize it. I use a shared email and calendar with my wife in Outlook, not gmail, which I was able to get to work with the built-in calendar app. I simply installed the Outlook app from the Play store, logged into Outlook, then went into its settings and selected to share the calendar. It automatically synched and showed my events on the calendar that was in the widgets. Overall, this is a great tablet that is a huge upgrade (quite literally) from our Echo Show that we had been using. Note that it is a little thick at around 1", so not super thin like a typical tablet. Probably due to the screen being more like a backlit monitor than a tablet screen. ... show more

  • So much better than I expected So much better than I expected
My first impression of this smart screen is that it is so much better than I expected. The idea that this is primarily a digital family calendar is really underselling the capabilities of this device. It is very much a huge, fully functional Android smart screen that you can use for anything. Yes, the calendar functions are very useful, and if you're using Google Calendar, it will automatically sync with the Google apps on your other Android and iOS devices. But the fact that you can install pretty much any app from the Play Store really makes this smart screen versatile and robust. On the absolute lowest end, you can create a photo album to use as an art display or screensaver when the device isn't in use. If you're looking for a more interactive experience, you can run mobile games directly on the device, using the touchscreen for gameplay. YouTube and other apps come preinstalled, and full-screen video performance is very good. If you were looking for a TV alternative for the kitchen or playroom, this would be an excellent choice. The kit includes both a wall mount and a desk stand that works in both portrait and horizontal modes. The screen works in any direction and will auto-detect the orientation. Touchscreen response ranges from good to acceptable, but may lag a bit with resources intensive apps. My only complaint is that the physical power button can be hard to find as it is flush mounted in the back of the screen, but that's literally the only thing I can find to complain about. Everything else works exactly as it should, and at this price point, that's impressive. Anyway, I'm going to install some new apps and see what else I can do with this thing. Highly recommended. ... show more

  • Versatile and affordable full use tablet Versatile and affordable full use tablet
I dont know what I was expecting by this honestly when I ordered it, but I am so glad I ordered. First, i am a bad judge of size by just pictures and measurements, so when it got delivered and I saw how big it was, i was excited! This isnt just a digital calendar, its a full tablet running android OS. In the box is the tablet, a desk stand, a wall mount, a power cable, and a cable for transferring data. It also comes with all the tools for mounting, including a legitimate screwdriver. You can log into it like any other android device, and any app thats available on the Google play store is available to download. It has all the normal settings that are available, and even has a Screensaver for when it goes idle. I installed some of my streaming services and have basically used it as a TV while im in the kitchen. Like most tablets, it runs an older android OS so sometimes it can lag and the touch sensitivity on the screen can be a little laggy and unresponsive. Also, the speakers arent the greatest, so dont expect it to replace whatever you use as a sound system. Overall, I am super pleased by it, and for the price it is so good. ... show more

  • Unique and practical Unique and practical
I purchased this digital family calendar to help keep household schedules organized, and overall it has been a useful addition to our home. The large 21.5-inch touchscreen is easy to read from across the room, and the anti-glare display helps maintain visibility throughout the day. One of the biggest advantages is the flexibility. Unlike some competing products that require a specific calendar ecosystem, this device allows access to a variety of apps through Google Play. Being able to sync different calendar services and use familiar productivity apps makes it much easier to fit into an existing routine. The touchscreen is responsive, and the customizable dashboard allows useful information such as calendars, reminders, weather, and widgets to be displayed in one place. The photo frame feature is also a nice touch, allowing the screen to serve a purpose even when scheduling information is not being viewed. Installation is straightforward thanks to the included stand, which provides flexibility in placement without requiring permanent wall mounting. The option to mount it later is available for those who prefer a more dedicated setup. The voice assistant features and smart home compatibility add convenience, although the overall experience will depend on which services and devices are already being used in the home. Overall, this is a well-designed family organization hub with a large display, flexible app support, and useful customization options. It is a practical solution for families looking to centralize schedules, reminders, and daily planning in a single location. ... show more
