Solve Wife’s Need with Some Good Surprises

We’ve been using the Cozyla Smart Calendar for a few days, and it’s been a great addition to our home. We installed it in my wife’s office/training room, right next to her mirror, and the setup process was smooth and surprisingly delightful. The included screwdriver is an unexpected gem—seriously high-quality and the kind of tool you’d actually want to keep in your toolbox. That was a great surprise and a thoughtful touch. Once set up, the calendar fit perfectly into the space. It makes managing daily schedules and shopping lists super easy, which has been a huge help for keeping things organized. One standout feature is the screen mirroring. Even though it’s an Android-based system, it supports Apple AirPlay flawlessly, so my wife can mirror her iPhone during yoga sessions with no hassle. It also handles Android devices effortlessly. With it placed next to her mirror, it feels like she has a high-end studio setup at home. As a heavy Apple user, I did have to get a little creative to integrate it into our workflow. I added a shortcut to the main screen that directs my wife to her iCloud.com page, so she can easily access her Notes and Reminders. It works well enough, but I hope future updates can offer better Apple integration to make this even smoother. One minor drawback is that it doesn’t have a built-in battery, so it always needs to stay plugged in. For us, this hasn’t been a big issue since it’s in a fixed spot, but it could limit placement options for some users. Additionally, the power cord design could be improved. The cord currently comes out of the bottom, which can make cable management tricky, especially if you rotate the device often. If the cord came out near the middle of the back, it would be much easier to hide and manage. Overall, the Cozyla Smart Calendar has exceeded our expectations with its practicality, thoughtful extras like the screwdriver, and seamless mirroring. If you’re looking for something to keep your family organized or enhance your office or training room, it’s worth considering. With a few tweaks in future versions, it could become even better!

Exceeded Expectations- both the device and the company

We’ve been really happy with the Cozyla 24” Smart Calendar so far. It originally started as just a shared family calendar for us, but it’s honestly become more of a central hub for the house. Besides schedules and reminders, we use it all the time to control Sonos and Spotify, manage smart home devices, and check cameras around the house. Having everything in one place has been super convenient and makes it much more useful than a typical digital calendar. One of the big reasons we chose this over other options was the access to Google Play. It gives you a lot more flexibility with apps and customization, which makes the device feel much more capable long term. The calendar layout and menu system are also much better than many of the other digital calendars I’ve used — everything feels intuitive and easy to navigate. The hardware itself also feels very well made. The screen is sharp, it runs quickly, and the overall build quality feels solid and premium. It definitely doesn’t feel cheap. Customer service has also been excellent. Anytime we had a question, their team responded quickly and was genuinely helpful, which is something you don’t always get anymore. Overall, really glad we bought it and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a smart calendar that can also work as a smart home hub.

Glorified massive android tablet...but useful

So cards on the table - at the end of the day this is just a massive Android Tablet. That being said, Android Tablets of this size are hard to find and about roughly the same price as Cozyla anyways, and for the price Cozyla comes packaged with 1) a sleek appearance 2) wall mounts and 3) its own productivity/calendar/grocery apps that you can use out of the box If you're not very tech savvy, then the Cozyla pre-installed productivity apps are going to be very helpful. If you are tech savvy, then you'll be able to quickly replace those apps with the ones you actually like, because personally I think the Cozyla apps are a little click-heavy. There are more efficient apps for each service. I use Google Calendar for calendar and TASKS app for chores & groceries / lists. As far as sizes go, the 24" is plenty large for us. The 32" is frankly MASSIVE, you really could see it from across a large room, but we didn't need that. We keep the 24" near a high traffic hallway and it's perfect, not too obtrusive. Speaking of photos, we use the tablet's in built screensaver option to link to Google Photos for our photo reel and really enjoy it. The viewing angle on the screen is not the best but head on, the colors and details are vivid. Docked 1 star bc the touch screen is a little buggy at the bottom of the screen. You're supposed to be able to swipe up and pull up all the apps just as you would an android phone or smaller tablet. This swipe registers maybe 50% of the time. But no regrets, this has served as a centralized hub for our house's to-do list, calendar, and also a lovely rolling reel of photos we otherwise never see.

Pricey but worth it

At its core it's just a big Android tablet but it should be a nice frictionless experience and it is. When you open the box, the mounting solutions are obvious and you're given a template for either the fixed orientation bracket, or the bracket that allows you to rotate the tablet. I chose the latter. It was painless to get the template in place and use the included drywall anchors and screws to install the tablet to the mount, and then the full tablet to the wall. It turned on immediately when I plugged the power cable in. Standard setup process, if you've used any phone in the last 5 years you can figure it out. Standard launcher included with the tablet seems perfect for wall calendar usage, and there were some updates available when I plugged it in too, so it is getting some support. Included app isn't exactly the best but it's perfectly usable and seems to sync fine. But since it is a plain Android tablet we can just swap to Google Calendar or something too. Home Assistant widgets and everything work fine as well, so I have a home screen set up with light switch toggles etc. Screen is only OK, viewing angles aren't great, but I've seen worse. No dead pixels or anything. Hardware seems to all be decent enough quality, I have no doubts this will last a few years, assuming the software keeps up. And if not, I'll find out if GSIs work with it or not.

Beautiful Upgrade for Our Nursery

As new parents to a 7-month-old, setting up Cozyla definitely took us a bit of time between learning the platform and formatting everything the way we wanted but even while we’re still refining it, we’ve been really impressed. What I love most is how much it instantly upgraded our baby’s room. It feels more intentional, modern, and put-together, without losing that warm, cozy vibe. Cozyla has been a great addition to our routine and space, and I can already see how useful it’ll be as our child grows and our needs evolve. I bought this wonderful product one month ago. Now we are super reliant on this digital calendar to manage all of our family work tasks including volleyball, volunteer work, badminton and all activities. Now our whole family really loves this product because it can sync the family's calendars into one place to keep track of various events, appointments, activities, stay organized and efficient. It is game changer for busy schedules family. We highly recommend it! The calendar boasts a clean and intuitive user interface. Navigation is straightforward, with a central calendar view that can be toggled between daily, weekly, and monthly perspectives. Will Unorganize Your Life, Guaranteed

I have spent the past month trying to figure this calendar out but it’s too complicated and glitchy. I reached out for tech support and they have not gotten back to me. I want to return it but I’m a week too late now. I’m so angry. The biggest problem I have is that the calendar and my phone sync together and I want the sync to be one directional. If I add my son’s sports practice on my phone’s Google Calendar, it shows up on Cozyla. Perfect. Now in Cozyla, I change it so he’s the “owner” of the event, it erases it off my Google Calendar! So now all my events for the rest of the sports season are gone. I am missing events, our organization is a disaster. This calendar is making everything worse. Why would it affect the original source event?! And I can’t get anyone to get back to me. Never mind you that the menu planning is so clunky and requires so much time to upload a menu I can’t even use it. I just want to put the name of a meal on a day! I don’t need a recipe for every meal - I just want me family to know what to expect! Also, you can’t undo completing a chore, so if you click it by accident there’s no way to undo it. I wish I could go back to my dry erase calendar that I had to fill out every two weeks. That was way less work than trying to figure out how Cozyla functions. DO NOT BUY.
