Love this calendar! I have a Skylight photo frame that I've had a few years and love. I needed a calendar and went with Cozyla. It was very expensive and did not seem to differentiate between different activities only different users. I found it complicated to use. I figured I would give the Skylight a try as my photo frame works great. It was very user-friendly. It has a great appearance for a quick at a glance, needing to know what you have going on for the day. I had a little bit of confusion, combining my calendar and my frame and had two subscriptions going. I called customer service. A human picked right up he walked me through and I found I was grandfathered in under my frame subscription so there was no subscription fee for my calendar. Very pleased!

I don’t know why there’s a review saying it took almost a whole day to set up. I just took this out of the box an hour ago and I have our entire schedule (with 4 kids plus many doctors appts for me) already programmed into it from now until mid July. I’m not technologically savvy at all, I make my husband do it all for me but this was SO easy to set up on my own. It’s so organized and finally our life with four kids and 2738 sports will be made easy, for the whole family to see, along with my husband and I both having access to the calendar straight from our phones which is amazing for our busy nights and needing to figure out which kid goes to which sport at which location on which day 😂 sooo worth the money! I’m so glad I finally got one!! Only downfalls are having to pay for the subscription if you want alll the perks and it needing to be plugged in constantly. Haven’t decided yet if I plan on doing that but for only $8 a month, or on sale for $75 a year, it’s not that bad of a price! The plug part makes it harder to figure out a good spot to hang it, and we already have limited counter space and a bunch of cats that like to knock things over, so I wish it was rechargeable but that’s just me being picky lol. Overall so worth the money!

The 15-inch display is bright, clean, and easy to read from across the room, and the touchscreen is very responsive and simple enough for everyone in the family to use — even people who aren’t tech-savvy. One of the biggest things I love is how seamlessly it syncs with multiple calendars. We connected Google Calendar within minutes, and now everyone’s schedules automatically appear in one place. No more constantly asking, “What time is your appointment?” or “Who’s picking up the kids?” Everything is visible at a glance, color-coded, and incredibly easy to manage. It has seriously reduced stress and confusion in our house. The layout is extremely well designed. I really like this Skylight Calendar overall—it’s a great way to keep everything organized and visible for the whole family. The display is clear, easy to read, and the touchscreen is pretty user-friendly once you get the hang of it. Setup was straightforward, and I love being able to manage events digitally without needing a paper calendar. My only downside is that it’s not quite as seamless or fast as I expected at times, and there’s a bit of a learning curve with syncing and features. I purchased this for our family, and I have mixed feelings overall. The product itself is genuinely good. The screen looks nice, the touchscreen works well, and the concept of a shared family planner and chore calendar is excellent. Once everything is set up properly, it can be very useful for keeping schedules visible and organized in one place. That said, there are some meaningful downsides buyers should know. First, the upfront price already feels somewhat expensive. On top of that, certain additional features require a subscription, and that subscription also feels pricey for what it is. Second, and more importantly, setup was frustrating for our household. My wife and I both use iPhones, and syncing our existing calendars with it became a major project. It took nearly an entire day to get everything working properly, and I probably performed a factory reset around ten times during the process. Eventually we got it working, and once functioning correctly it does have strong value. But getting there required far more patience than it should for a modern smart home product. So while I recognize that this has very good functionality, the cost and difficult setup experience hold it back significantly. Overall, a good product with real benefits, but be prepared for frustration during setup and ongoing costs. Four stars (honestly closer to 3.5 stars in my personal view).

This was purchased as a gift for my daughter-in-law and she is loving it. She found it easy to set up and it seamlessly synced to their phones. They are a family of 4 and have very busy work and play schedules so they are finding this a great tool to stay organized and keep up with their weekly events. The 15” size worked well for them. They hung it over their coffee bar area and it looks really nice and is functional for a quick glance at the day as they fix their coffee to head out the door. It also works as a digital picture frame which is such a cool feature. I think this is a really smart thing to have for any busy family. Just one note to keep in mind—It does require a monthly subscription.
