The girls in my family all love this gel. Our hair textures vary from 3c to 4b & this holds well! The yellow is the favorite in hold & shine, but the red works well also! I get tired of buying gels/wax & they don't lay the hair down plus stay down. That problem is solved

such a disappointment💔 i’m not even a reviewer, but this product kept disappointing me so badly that i had to write a review. i remember buying this product maybe two years ago (some time during high school), and when i tell you, it was THEEE best thing i’ve ever gotten. i remember one super hot day when i was sweating like crazy, but my hair stayed in place. i thought it was witchcraft, i swear; that’s how good the product was. if i used it in the winter, i could sleep and wake up with my edges still intact (not super neat looking, but still there!). i’ve been buying this edge control for the past two years because nothing else could compare—until SOMETHING changed. i don’t know what ingredient the company removed or added, but something changed. i’ve bought this product probably two times already this year (which is insane considering my hair has been in braids for half the time, so truthfully, i only need my edges done), and it wasn’t until recently that i sat down and think 😭. i’ve come to the conclusion that since the company got big, they changed the product so it runs out faster? and people keep buyin it 🤷♀️ i don’t know what other edge control i’ll try, but this was my last time buying this one. my hair is a mixture of 4a (in the front) and 4b/c everywhere else. my hair is not super thick or coarse in any way, (like thin actually) so if it stop working on mine i cannot imagine someone with thicker hair and even my mom who used it here and there while having a PERM could see something was wrong. the product just isn’t the same and it’s suckssssssssssssss. * pretty sure it’ll still hold perm hair bc duh lol , but it’s just not the same ! i don't think its the worst because truthfully maybe when when winter comes around i won’t have these problems but that’s only because its THE WINTER so …is it still even worth it? 3 stars bc it might be good for the winter but everything else is a no because it has literally lost its value .

The media could not be loaded. I have used several different kinds of waxes, even two different kinds from this brand. This by far is my favorite. It’s very easy to mold and as long as I apply a little bit of heat in my hands prior to application, it does not leave clumps. I also really enjoy the smell, slightly sweet and a little fruity.
