When I ordered this wok, I was just looking for a good 12" wok. I cook with a wok a lot and my old one needed an upgrade. I was pleasantly surprised at the package size and weight when it arrived. The size was because it comes completely assembled. The weight was because of the heavy construction. When I first used the wok for some stir-fry, I saw the true greatness of this piece of cookware. The even heat made cooking the meat easy. None of the meat stuck to the surface of the wok. When I added the vegetables and seasonings, they all blended so nicely. My thought - cooking with this wok is a breeze. Cleanup was another pleasant surprise. With a little soap and water to remove the oils and a gentle rub with the sponge, This instantly became my favorite piece of cookware. Is it a little pricy? Yes. To me, if you are going to use this a couple times a week, or more, It is worth a few extra dollars. If you are going to use it for entertaining, it is worth a few extra dollars. The even heat, the way it cooks my meals, and the ease of clean-up all make this a great product.

This wok pan is excellent and my go too for tossing food thanks to being easy to clean and even heat distribution. Typical of Livwell, the pan is very well built, no blemishes on the finish, the handle is cool to the touch, and they feel sturdy. This nonstick is not the best, it is still very usable, but being able to utilize metal utensils on this is the big appeal. The design is great for stir fries and pastas, the handle on the opposite side stays relatively cool when cooking and is great for hanging the pan. Cleaning is relatively easy, not as high maintenance as traditional stainless steel pans, but does require some extra tlc. Overall this pan is an excellent addition to my kitchen!

I wanted to use this everyday for at least a few weeks before giving it a review. First off, I love it. I've been lusting after the Gordon Ramsay Hexclad (?) ones for a long time, but they're so expensive. This one is pretty similar in price point I think? But here are my honest opinions. What I didn't like: - Heavy. Very heavy. I'm not a super weak woman, but I have trouble holding it with one hand even when empty. Thankfully it does have an extra handle on the other side so you can lift with both (I think they knew the weight was a problem) so I use it that way, but when I'm trying to dump food from it with a spatula in one hand, it gets a bit annoying. What I did like: - Sturdy! I've been using this at least once a day for over 3 weeks and not a scratch. I wash it with mild detergent by hand, or if it's super greasy I'll run it through the dishwasher. Comes out sparkling clean, doesn't loose its non-stick quality. I can see this lasting me decades. - It really is non-stick, if you use if properly. Read the instructions it comes with first. Do put it on heat with a little oil (I use the oil spray bottle I use for my air fryer) to prep it. Eggs and stuff will slide right off. But if you put food in it while it's cold with no oil, it will stick. - Works great on induction. Super important to me. - Searing power is unlike any other non-stick pan. I cook beef and broccoli in this, and the beef is perfectly seared. And only one wok to clean, since I can use it for all other steps! Final Verdict: - I honestly don't think this is any different from the Hexclad ones. Get whichever is cheaper, and you'll be happy with it.

Well made, looks very similar to high price HEXCLAD pan. Tried to make scrambled egg, with oil in the pan and the egg would stick to the pan as soon as you started to stir the egg. Had same issue making beef teriyaki and bulgogi. The food sticks to the pan even with plenty of oil in the pan. Very disappointed. Paid a lot for this pan....a few bucks more and I could have gotten a REAL hexclad pan.
