Not often are expectations exceeded but this does. Based on the price I was expecting less but this thing is very sturdy. The instructions were clear and concise and it was pretty easy to install. The finish is great (I could do without the big yellow brand on the front, I sanded it and painted it black). I would definitely recommend. Mounted on a 2018 Jeep Cherokee Trailhawk and mounted lights on it.

The quality of the basket seems really nice. The mounting brackets all seem like they would work really well. The problem I had with it is I bought a combo package that had the bag and the basket. The travel bag is longer than the basket, so the only way I could figure out to use it would be for me to fold up the bag and not expand it all the way, so it would fit inside of the basket. The width of the bag is fine. The length is what was too long. I chose to buy the 46 inch long basket because I had a smaller car. The bag would fit inside of the longer basket. I am going to return this one and order the longer basket.

I’m very happy with this car roof basket and bag combination. The material is very nice and feels very sturdy, giving me confidence for long trips. It was easy to assemble and attach to my 2024 Grand Highlander, which was a big plus. The capacity is excellent. We were able to fit two large duffel bags, two small duffel bags, and even a queen-size inflatable mattress with room to spare. During our trip, we drove through some rain, and I was impressed that everything inside the bags stayed completely dry. Pros: • Sturdy, high-quality material • Easy installation on a 2024 Grand Highlander • Excellent storage capacity • Waterproof performance held up well in rain Cons: • The basket can be a bit noisy when empty due to air friction • The plastic attachments used to secure the bag to the basket didn’t feel as sturdy as expected, so I added extra straps for peace of mind Overall, this is a very practical and reliable setup for extra cargo space. With a little extra strapping and awareness of wind noise when the basket is empty, it performs exactly as needed and is a great addition for road trips and family travel.

Perfect size! Fits my 5 foot tailgate tables perfectly. Was pleasantly surprised with the minimal noise on the highway. Super sturdy and clamps on tight to my Subaru’s cross bars. P.S. I chose to spray with matte black rustoleum paint, to prevent rust but mainly cause I didn’t like the logo

Bought the rooftop basket with bag combo. They sent me the wrong size bag. Simple mistake? The bag they sent was obviously for the longest basket they offer, and not the bag shown on the picture with my shorter basket. I ordered a second kit hoping to swap out the bags as Amazon instructed, but it also has a 56" bag with the 44" basket. Now I have to deal with a second return. When I contacted the manufacturer about all this, they demand pictures of the bag next to the basket, and a long list of other demands and worded the email as if I am trying to cheat them. I just want the bag shown on the product page to match what I recieved. So far I have to jump through more hoops to get what I paid for than the whole ordeal was even worth...
