It doesn't take up much space and is quiet. I have total control of the heat setting and hours of operation. I get heat exactly where I want it, with the option of having it swivel to cover more area!!!! I love it!

    • Good small room heater
Bought this heater for use in the master bedroom. The higher of the two speeds works well enough to take the chill out of the room. The heater is compact enough to stay out of the way, but the range within this larger bedroom is not enough to make the entire room warm. The remote control is especially helpful for turning the unit on while still in bed in the morning, but can be challenging as it has to be directly aimed at the precise area of the unit. I've owned this model heater for several years (since 2012...?) -- now using my third heater of this model, the others I purchased having been gifted to family and or killed by butt. (a heater is NOT a chair!) This heater has been reliable, consistent and (since I read the instructions & cleaned the dust out fairly regularly, it's been good to me. This heater is NOT for demanding, inconsiderate, abusive users. I accidentally slipped and fell onto my 2nd heater, breaking the bottom gearing (photo-2). It is NOT a chair! The replacement came without a remote, but the remote from one of my earlier heaters, works GREAT on the same model. Why the caution if it's so good...? Many people want a cheap heater that lasts a long time and gets hot really fast. But just think. In most ANY heater, heat is generated by very HOT super FAST electricity routed through a (tiny) FUSE to a ceramic output. So it's gonna be hot and it's gonna be fast. So what can go wrong? Pushing TOO MUCH HEAT thru THE FUSE!! And what if it's got a CHEAP fuse? If you run too much heat too fast through one little fuse, it WILL burn out, (could catch fire if you didn't clear out the dust! -- see access in photo-2) and your heater is DEAD. I hadn't realized that my own heater was manufactured in a country where they count penny-parts on a critical fuse. But (photo-1) I realized MY heater, even though built by a VERY reputable company, was built in China where corners can be cut on critical components. So yes, buy this great heater, but be SURE it's got GOOD components in it! Oh, and keep the dust cleaned out of the filter on the back of ANY heater. It will lasts YEARS longer! :-) And best of luck and love to ALL who seek more warmth for this beautiful world! ... show more

    • Great but smaller than expected
Although it is smaller than expected, this heater works great. The main issue I have with it is the temperature control. If you set it to a certain temperature it gets hotter than the set temperature. It also doesn't display the room temperature. It just shows the set temperature. I have another device measuring the room temperature and it goes well above the set temperature. Now that I have written temperature way too many times, let's get on to the good things. This heater pumps out heat. It is quiet and has an eco mode. It oscillates from side to side. It comes with a little remote and it has a sleep timer. I am becoming a fan of this brand. I like this heater and their Nespresso machine. Keep up the good work DēLonghi. ... show more

    • Cheaply made, stopped working
Bought the product bc we wanted a good whole room heater. I could not get the remote to function at all, but only used the battery that came with it. Perhaps a new battery would have done the trick, but then after about a week the buttons on the front of the heater stopped functioning. I'd push and push and nothing happened so I decided to send it back. BEWARE!! This is not a typical Amazon purchase that is easy to return. They make it VERY difficult. I had to call and talk to someone for several minutes, who asked me to change the batteries on the heater (they're aren't any) and to check the wiring (There is no visible wiring besides a cord & I'm not taking it apart) in between I was put on hold...not sure what was happening behind the scenes. They agreed to refund but didn't want the heater back. So now I get to take to the Electronic Waste Disposal site. Maybe I got a lemon - I don't know. But I certainly would not recommend this esp for over $100. ... show more

    • Reliable Heater
I have purchased this heater about 5 times for myself and family members homes. It's reliable. We have had our central heater replaced in the winter and I bought 2 for for each room and what a great feeling to be warm in the winter. Comfortable heat, different modes to have on low or higher output. I have tried other heaters and once this worked great I stoped buying other heaters. ... show more
