Worked well for shrinking on some connectors, repairing a extension cord I cut in two with my hedge trimmer. It was packed well and included a variety of nozzle tips for using on different heating applications. Also several shrink tubing. Good buy.

So it’s very light weight compared to my old harbor 9$ one that only had two settings. This has a wide range of temps and two speeds. I like that it can be laid on the back cap to stand up, it has a metal kickstand to keep it up right. The attachments are great, and the accessories are great if you need them. The cons: The heat dial seems to have a VERY fine line between cool air and air straight from H E LL ! I haven’t found that sweet spot yet. It seems to go from not hot enough to burn your project to the ground rather quickly Since it’s so light weight it tips over very easily with a pull of the cord or light bump The heat gun says you must let it run with cool air before you shut it off. I’ve always direct shut off my heat gun … so if you are using it a lot you have to either let it run while working with your project, or let it cool shut it off and then reheat it all over again. The cord is rather short. But for the price I will keep it.
