I installed this on our Bestway 18’ round above ground pool from Sam’s Club. It came with a sand pump that I changed to an Intex filter pump. I found the need to change the filter frequently so I sought this valve out to stop water flow while doing so. It works great and is exactly what I needed.

Perfect connection for the job

So bought this to put between the out lines to my pool pump. Has been holding up well, no leaks. Gave 4 stars because i dont want to get too excited. It does seem to be well made for the price. I would recommend if you like to switch from the normal T connector to one you can shut off if working on the pump.

A little big for intex pools

The fittings are big for intex pipes. Have to really work it on to get it to fit and then it won't come back off. I guess that's a plus for making sure it doesn't leak. For the price it's decent.
