They are so easy to clean and are not too heavy. The blue outside color is very attractive so I leave two of the pans out on my electric stovetop. They take time to heat up but once hot hold their heat very well. Tremendous value for the money. Best frying pans I have ever owned. Do not know about durability but they seem extremely well made. This pan has been a lifesaver. It's not as heavy as my grandmother's old cast iron skillet I inherited. I made some steak and they turned out perfectly. The coating is nice. The handle is great and the blue matches my kitchen perfectly.

I got the set of the small, medium, and large of these pans. They are fantastic! They take a while to heat up, but it allows you to really monitor the food well. It heats and cooks very evenly across the pan. If, however, you have the heat on too high, it will burn the food once you crash that threshold. It is suggested that you use medium heat, which I have found works perfectly! also, it is advised to read the directions because you want to take special care of this pan. I would use butter rather than oil. If you use oil, mix it with a little butter and don’t use too much. Also, wait until it is cooled before you wash it with just a sponge, soap, and warm water. I don’t put mine in the dishwasher. I really love cooking with this pan! ... show more

Last thing I needed was another pan... I thought! I just didn't have the right pan, because I LOVE this little skillet! Tried this small size with a "like new - had been opened" item Amazon purchase offered under the regular new listing for the brand new items. Skillet and packaging all in perfect condition, contained sealed instructions and recipes, item packed just like a new one would be. Glad to save some money on this item that I wasn't sure I'd like. I choose grey and that will go well with bright, tropical colors I use. It has a good weight to it. Hand wash only. It cleans up so easy, that isn't a problem for me - and I sure don't like washing dirty pots and pans...or any other dishes! Ended up not only cooking up my 2 egg omelette for today's breakfast, but went ahead and cooked up 6 more individual servings to freeze for future tortilla wrap egg breakfasts. YUM! Since like was on a roll....I sauteed an onion that I needed to use. Added a bit of BBQ sauce and a few hot dogs (a rare guilty pleasure) that will be improved with a pan fry. Those will be perfect for me with a pot of black beans I had already cooked up yesterday! Woo-Hoo! I'm pretty happy getting all that done in a 7.5" pan in under a hour this morning! But I'm absolutely THRILLED the pan was spotless with just a swipe of a paper towel - before I wash it for real later. Only thing better than cooking foods you enjoy, is EASY clean up! Of course it's brand new,and I hope it continues to be so satisfactory! If so, I will definitely replace some of my existing stainless skillets with larger DASH skillets. *Before taking one on a "test drive" be sure to have a *silicone or other (dry) heat-proof handle grip*, non-stick friendly cooking utensils, and a pan lid if you'll need one when you're cooking will be helpful too. 😉 ... show more
