For the benefit of my fellow spoonies, I wanted to touch upon a few aspects that I feel are important. The dryer is about 73 decibels on its highest setting, which is what I was hoping for as it's disappointing to buy a new hairdryer that you're hoping is moderately quiet but ends up sounding like a jet engine. Subsequently, it's not a super powerful dryer, but that's fine for me. I personally find the dryer to be on the heavier side, compared to my old one, so my wrist did get a little fatigued. Combined with the narrow handle design, it can get tiring to hold. I love that there are different temperature options, and I appreciate that the cord is longer than my old one. Overall I'm happy with this purchase.

Okay, I bought other tools from wavytalk and was really disappointed with the way they didn’t do anything with my hair. I bought this thinking it wasn’t gonna be a good blow dryer and boy was I humbled by my own thought. THIS BLOW DRYER IS INSANE!!! It dried my hair in less than 4 minutes and it’s so light and the power it has is crazy. It feels so smooth in my hands too and I love the cooling feature. It has buttons to adjust the heat and power. If you’re having 2nd thoughts about this here is your sign to just buy it. You won’t regret it. Better than hair salon blow dryers 100%

El secador de pelo Wavytalk cumple muy bien su función. Tiene un buen nivel de potencia que seca el cabello rápidamente sin dañarlo gracias a su tecnología de control de temperatura. Me gusta que cuenta con varias velocidades y ajustes de calor, lo que permite adaptarlo según el tipo de cabello y estilo deseado. Además, es ligero y cómodo de manejar, lo que facilita su uso diario. El diseño es moderno y el cable es lo suficientemente largo para mayor movilidad. My dog chewed up my Dyson hair dryer. TBH, I didn’t really like my Dyson that much and didn’t use it a lot so I wasn’t about to spend another $400+ on a hair dryer. This dryer IS BETTER THAN MY DYSON. It dries my hair faster (thick, curly low porosity hair) and the attachments are great. The only thing I don’t like is that it only has 2 settings - low & high. I wish there was a middle ground. The high setting seems to get pretty hot, I’m having trouble finding info online on exactly how hot the high setting is so it’s hard to know how strong of a heat protectant I should use. I saw somewhere online it gets to 460 degrees but that seems astronomically high for a blow dryer so I’m not sure how accurate that is…?

This blow dryer exceeded my expectations. I have curly coarse hair, 3b,4a. I do have heat damage prior but my hair is still super thick and curly in 95% of areas. I was able to blow dry my hair is less than 15 minutes with the comb attachment. I’ve never been able to do that before. It also evenly dried evently, didn’t burn my scalp, the cool setting actually works and the comb attachment did not fall off at all. I love it!

I’ve been using the Wavy Talk Hair Dryer and I’m in love! I have straight, medium-length hair and this dryer leaves it smooth, shiny, and frizz-free in just minutes. It’s powerful but not too loud, super easy to handle, and the design is just beautiful! It doesn’t burn the hair or scalp, and the cool shot really helps to lock in the style.
