I love this little griddle! I made a single egg sunny side up egg in less than 2 minutes. Let it cool afterwards and wiped clean with a damp paper towel. I did use a little canola spray (NOT Aerosol, because the instructions say that aerosols have additives that can build up, and spray does not, so I used Trader Joe’s Canola SPRAY and NOT Aerosol) It cleaned up nicely. I got this for my older mother who lives alone. Technically, she can still cook, but often it's too much trouble. This thing is AWESOME for her. She doesn't have to get out a pan, put a pan on the stove, select the heat, wait for it to heat, pay attention to the time to cook an egg, turn of the heat, get the egg out of the pan, move the pan to the sink, wash the pan, put the pan away.... NOW she plugs it in and if she gets distracted while waiting for it to heat -- no danger. She plops in an egg, it cooks to the perfect temperature without her having to think about it, and it wipes clean with a towel. Lightweight, easy to use. She loves it. She makes regular eggs, and was excited to have made a Denver sandwich the other day -- something not easily done for her on a regular pan (her grip strength and agility isn't what it used to be). This is perfect for 1 serving cooking. I got mine for Keto diet purposes and works great. Cook time is quite fast and accurate-you might need to adjust some cooking time to your personal taste. It is not the easiest to clean as i tend to have cooking spray drip from "hidden" places on the unit. Otherwise a great value. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. My daughter constantly asks for pancakes on busy school day mornings and I burn them everytime in regular pans. This little pancake maker is SO easy!!! The light turns off when they’re ready and they’re perfect every time with no need for cooking spray. I’ve used it 4-5 times since Christmas and they’re consistently made.     • Perfect For College Students Who Don't Know How To Cook

I got mine a few days ago when I moved into college, and it is perfect! I was concerned about eating at the dining hall as I have to eat (mostly) gluten-free and there is no guarantee that what the dining hall is cooking will be safe for me to eat. (especially now during covid as their options are much more limited). Since I am in a standard dorm, I don't have a stove or skillet top. So I thought this was the perfect solution! I was surprised at the size- when I ordered it I failed to look at what size it was so I assumed it would be bigger lol, but honestly the 4'' is all I need! It fits perfectly on my small desk without taking up much room, and it is so convenient to just plug it in and drop on what you're trying to fix. I've only used it twice so far- once for sweet potato slices, and then for a cookie (highly recommend getting a bag of frozen pre-made cookie dough, so you can just drop one on when you're in the mood for a cookie, and it will be done baking in about 5-10 mins! ). I think I will use this a lot to fix eggs, chicken breasts, mini quesadillas, sweet potato slices (good to top with things like peanut butter or avocado!) and really just anything! I even have a frozen pizza I'm considering trying to bake on this griddle- I think if I cut it into small slices, I can cook a piece or two then save the rest of the pizza for another night! This griddle is a perfect way to save food that would normally be wasted- cooking one or two slices of pizza is all I need instead of throwing the whole thing into the oven and wasting half. One suggestion I have for using this for frozen things such as potato slices, pizza, or frozen chicken breasts/etc would be to put it in the microwave first, then put it into the griddle. It's probably more than okay to not use a microwave initially, but I think it just ensures that the food will be entirely hot and not cold in the middle. My sweet potato slices were not entirely hot all the way through, but honestly that may have just been because I didn't cook it long enough! Easy cleanup, just a simple wipe down. Things don't stick to the pan so it's very easy to just grab and go. For a college student who isn't good at cooking, and who doesn't have a room equipped with an oven, this is a life-saver! ... show more
