I purchased this griddle long time ago and have been using it mainly for pancakes, and I’m really happy with it so far! The cooking surface is large enough to handle a good batch of pancakes at once, which is perfect for my family. While I did notice that the heat distribution can be a little uneven, with the edges getting hotter than the center, I’ve learned to adjust the heat and spread out the food more evenly. This way, everything cooks perfectly. One of the standout features for me is how easy it is to clean. After it cools down, I wipe the surface with a damp cloth and any residue comes right off. It does have some open areas along the edges where food can drip, but I haven’t had any major issues with that—just a quick wipe with a wet cloth, and it’s good to go. The design is sleek, and I love how it fits right into my kitchen setup. While I’ve mostly used it for pancakes, I’m excited to try other things like grilled cheese and quesadillas. The versatility and ease of cleaning make this griddle a great addition to my kitchen, and I’d definitely recommend it for anyone looking to cook small to medium-sized portions with minimal fuss. ... show more

Great product. I bought this because my SIL gave us 2 gallons (yes gallons!) of premium maple syrup, so I needed to start making some pancakes. No griddle, so I bought this. I was a little nervous about some negative comments, but I found none to be a problem. One user mentioned the space betweem the cook top and the outside and that food drops into. First, the space is there for a very good reason - it's for insulation and allows the outside to keep from getting hot. That works great, can heat the bugger up to level 5 and still be able to handle the outside. Thank you! Does it make it a little harder to clean? Eh. Not really. Sometimes I drip batter down it, but a wet cloth gets it right out. Several comments mentioned and showed pictures of uneven heating. I found this at first too. But it is easily remedied by adjusting the heat. The booklet that comes with it has a far too low heating temp for pancakes. I cook mine at 3.5 and don't have a problem. I also center the pancakes over the heating elements in two rows (flip the unit over and you can see where the heating element runs). My pancakes turn out great. If you cook too low or set them in the center then you will be disappointed. I have found this unit to be incredibly easy to clean. Let it all cool, wipe with a dry cloth to get the solid dregs to loosen. Anything that's left comes right off with a damp cloth. Easy, peasy. Easiest cleaning appliance I own! Note: I only use this for pancakes, so can't speak to anything else. I have also never had any problems with it no longer working as some reviewers state. I really took my time reading reviews on over a dozen griddles before I settled on this one. The make or break test was bacon. I was able to lay the strips across the griddle and soon realized that the end closest to the plug gets the most heat, which isn't a bad thing when cooking different items at the same time. Even the bacon was no problem since removing the ones done and pushing the remainder down towards the plug end. Five stars? Yes! Unless you have owned an electric Bella square frypan that took 25 minutes to unevenly cook bacon and leave burnt-in marks in the pan, you may not fully appreciate how quickly and evenly this griddle cooks. Bacon was done to perfection with minimum shrinkage and splatter. I worried that the drain cup would not be large enough for a 1 lb. package of bacon fat renderings, but the cup filled only 3/4 of the way up (I used name brand bacon). After a quick wipe down after cooling, I made a batch of thin pancakes without any problems. It seems to maintain heat without the annoying cool-down, heat up cycling that I have found in most electric appliances. The accompanying little booklet states you can use a non-stick spray on the griddle and I would like to point out here that aerosol sprays have been known to ruin non-stick surfaces, so I use a 'pump' type spray, same brand as aerosol. I bought this griddle mainly for bacon and I am so pleased with how it made it so well. ... show more

I purchased this in yellow (it was cheaper and matched my kitchen). I wanted a larger cook top to make lots of food at one time for my family. So far I have used it to make birria, quesadilla, grilled cheese, and pancakes. I have yet to use it to cook raw meats. It has worked fairly well. I did notice that the hottest spots seem to be along the edges, the middle does not heat as well so everything tends to cook unevenly. Luckily the stuff I have been cooking doesn’t require high heat and easily flipped around, so not a huge issue for me. Just be aware when purchasing this item. It can be a pain to clean if grease gets down along the edges. Hand wash in the sink and let it dry at an angle and flip it the other way after some time to get all the water out of the nooks and crannies. Otherwise the cook top itself cleans off nicely. All in all I’m happy with my purchase. I can cook a meal all at one time for my family and that was it’s intended use. ... show more
