    • Sturdy bipod, watch your fingers, and easy trick to install.

First time installing a mLock accessory. It's actually pretty easy once you know how. Here's the trick. 1. Make sure the screws are long enough -- this set comes with 2 sets. The default one were too short, which caused me issues, switching to the other, longer set did the trick. 2. Loosen the screws so they barely hold on to the back locking nuts. You want all the extra slack you can get. 3. Align everything and then tighten the screws. What happens is that the back locking nuts will spin 90 degrees naturally with the screw, and tighten naturally, No need ot fiddle from the other side. Overall, a very affordable and nice bipod. The legs are easy to adjust for height. The lock is very tight once I got them on. Watch you fingers when raising or lowering the legs, as they can be pinched. As long as your fingers aren't right next to the springs, you should be fine. I just grab them by the legs. One thing to note, the FDE color here is slightly darker than the FDE color from the Magnpull X-22 hunter. You notice the difference if you look closely, but it's not enough to be an eyesore. Expensive versions of this are unquestionably more steady and durable. The price spread will give any gun enthusiast (or shopper!) pause. If, like me, you realize that most of your guns will out-shoot you; a cheap tennis racket will out-play you; a 20 year old motorcycle will out-ride you; then congrats! You've outgrown your vanity and will be well-served by value instead of fashion. If you're going to war, might want to go superdeluxe. I'm not, and i'm having great luck with this one. ... show more

I got the m lok version of this after buying a picatinny rail and barrowing my dad's to sight my gun I needed one, for $25 there's nothing to complain about. Fits wonderfully is quiet when deploying, occasionally the leg spring detent will depress and pop one side up or another but again it was 25 bucks, my father's had the exact same one for years and it's held up so I'm hopeful this one will too. It's also very lightweight which is nice for the end of a rifle with lights and gadgets. I'd recommend this as a starter or enty bipod to anyone. Edit: after going to the range, I put around a hundred and 20 rounds through it, it stayed steady until I went to pack it up, the bipod fell off completely, so I'd recommend some blue or tan/orange locktite for consistent shots. Otherwise it's still a good value for me, the leg extensions sometimes poke out but it's not enough to earn a bad review. ... show more

It’s sturdy and worth the money but the one I got was bent. The actual frame itself was bent so the legs were never even. Didn’t notice until after return window, so was able to beat it in shape with a hammer and vise well enough. 3 stars to give benefit of doubt that it was a one off. Wish I would’ve noticed it though and got a new one ... show more
