The directions are easy, but you may need the get longer lancelets if you have thick skin.     • Hard to use inconsistent results
Very difficult to use product. The lipid profile strips require much more blood than a regular glucose strip. Besides, I got results not consistent with the lab tests. The total cholesterol reading was fine, but both HDL and LDL are consistently off by a big number. I observed the same with glucose strips, with measures about 20% off the lab results. Last but not least, it does not work on temperatures below 65F ... show more

I do not recommend based on the device not working correctly. This is a very expensive device, it doesn’t work as easy as a blood pressure machine. I would like to see someone invent a cholesterol machine as easy as a BP machine and make it reasonable to purchase. This machine is complicated in the sense of, Even though you will read the instructions and follow them, the device still will not compute your results, try after try! The reason for buying this is because I have very high triglycerides so when I tested it all it says is hi it doesn’t give me a number. I wanted to see the actual number to see if it is coming down. and you would think for $180 it would come with some kind of a storage bag to store everything in between use. ... show more
