I can not find this locally anywhere. So, I ordered on Amazon. I ended up testing negative which is a relief, because I thought I had a UTI. The minute clinics and hospitals have been extremely busy. I just wanted to make sure I wasn’t positive for leukocytes and nitrates. Make sure you follow the directions/time limits for the test. 2 minutes after wetting for leukocytes and 1 minute for nitrates. Other notes: Horrendous packaging with just the Azo box in a plastic sleeve with zero bubble protection. My Azo box was so busted in the back, the box actually cracked all the way through. Each test stick was ok and sealed in their individual plastic packaging. Azo tests are expensive, but if you think about how busy hospitals are you will get the idea. It’s also extremely convenient to test at home and have some peace of mind. If I would have tested positive I would have went straight to a minute clinic or urgent care. If you are having severe symptoms it’s probably the best idea to go get checked out and treated. You don’t want to mess around with UTI’s. However, I have no regrets buying this Azo test. I’ve used Azo many times and it’s usually very accurate. Stay safe everyone and Happy Holidays. Update: My mom needed a test and it was negative. Then several weeks later my wife thought she had a UTI. She took the test and has a UTI without Nitrates. We are getting the issue resolved by a medical professional. This test kit has been extremely useful in being proactive, despite the higher cost. I feel like I got my money’s worth, because it’s helping other members of my family. I've been using these for the past year as my body has changed and started having more issues with UTIs. I used to work in a clinic and used a variety of UTI testing strips, and from my medical background I can say that these are very similar to the quality and consistency of results as the strips we used in the health clinic. While it only offers two readings (and clinical ones offer four usually) these are enough to indicate if you are suspect for a UTI or not and at least be able to call your MD with more confidence that a UTI is starting or in full effect. I used these after experiencing severe urinary tract pain and it indicated I had a UTI. I ignored it because I wanted to take a second test but by the time I did the second one, it had progressed and I ended up in the ER, YES, with a UTI. So from my experiences over the last year of use (and several boxes later) I find that these are very accurate at picking up signs of a UTI early on before you end up in the ER with a full blown kidney infection. Read the instructions, use a timer, and trust the results. Of course consult your physician if you have one - thankfully most MDs now are more comfortable prescribing a simple course of antibiotics for UTIs than they were 10 years ago, so you should be able to use these tests as "proof" without having to go be seen in person. ... show more

Purchased a while back "just in case." No one likes to loose an afternoon waiting to see a physician, or spending a co-pay unnecessarily. These strips worked and provided the same result as the medical facility. Test is fast and easy to use. Instructions are simple to understand. Highly recommend.

I didn't read it closely enough and so was surprised at only 3 strips. Since I will need to use 2 of them to determine whether I actually have a UTI, I won't have the back-up supply I'd like to have. These worked great! I started feeling the stinging of yet another UTI, so I got these overnighted to test and sure enough.. the test lit up like a Christmas tree before the time was even up (first photo). I did a round of antibiotics along with taking D-Mannose, and the second photo is confirmation that the infection is gone. ... show more
