This was a Valentine's Day gift for my boyfriend who loves fingerboards and needed new ones. I picked this specific branding because I saw there was a chance to get the Revive brand of skateboarding because Revive is one of my boyfriend's favorite skateboarding brand, but unfortunately I did not get it - and quite frankly, I doubt that this seller has them after not seeing anything about it in reviews. Nonetheless, the gift was well-perceived. I got designs where some were flowery while others were not. I do not remember the skateboarding company's brand name, but it was a nice variety of different designs. There is one he dislikes and one that he thinks is only okay, but it was otherwise a hit with him. I don't have many more details because it was a gift, though I know like with other Tech Decks, it is a struggle to build them. Even with careful attention, it is difficult. Overall, this is a great buy for a skateboarding fan. Fingerboards are a great way to keep someone occupied while having a neat design from actual skateboarding companies on them. I wish there was a way to get specific brands, or at the least better options, as I noticed a lot of customers got designs and packages that they very much disliked. I recommend this for people that are able to take their time in building them and are already fingerboarders, as this isn't really a beginner set. I recommend individual board packages for beginners, and this for people that are fingerboard. ... show more

A lot of people seem to be confused about what they're supposed to get in this set. A tech deck sk8shop bonus pack comes with 6 boards. This does not mean that you'll be able to skate all 6 boards at once. As you can see in my picture, you'll have enough to have 3 boards fully assembled. I promise there is a third set of trucks under the bottom middle board, you won't see them while still in the box. You'll also have 6 sets of wheels (24 total) a tool, some stickers from both the brand of board and tech deck, as well as enough screws and lugs to make the 3 boards and have leftovers if needed. If you don't have these things, it's not a sk8shop pack, or is not genuine tech deck/was already opened. I also want to note the first complaint I saw about this particular set was that the boards were "for girls." I'll preface this with saying I've never attempted legit skateboarding in my life, but I remember the skaters in high school wearing this so called "stuff for girls." This is why you pay what you pay for a tech deck. They give you legit skateboarding decks, produced by actual companies. Those aren't made for girls, that's the skate brand. I'm happy with the Habitat boards I got, but if you can't handle the idea of a random skate deck that you might THINK is made for girls, go to the store so you can handpick what you get. ... show more

I truly want to give this Sk8shop Bonus Pack one star but in my haste to purchase a last minute Christmas gift for my 5 year old, I neglected to read the small print and purchased solely on what was visible on the front of the packaging. I've been aware of Tech Deck's for many years and always thought they looked like a cool toy but it wasn't until this Christmas that I actually had a kid old enough to go along with this type of gift. Looking at the packaging alone, I see 6 decks -- one already assembled -- 5 sets of wheels, 2 trucks and a big red call out that states '6 boards included'. This led me to draw the conclusion that my 5 year old would have 6 complete 'decks' to play with on Christmas morning. It wasn't until I peeled back the packaging that I discovered that I'd been had and that '6 boards included' does not mean the same as '6 complete decks included'. Looking at the packaging again sure did make me feel like they wanted me to believe I had enough parts to build 6 complete decks. What I found was enough trucks to assemble only 2 additional decks, not 5. I do think this is a cool toy and my kid loves the 3 decks that he can actually play with but, I can't help but feel slighted by the packaging and that bums me out. ... show more
