    • Terrible Product - Made My Water Worse
Completely disappointed with this product and the customer service I received while trying to get assistance to be able to try to keep the product. The assembly was straightforward and easy. I followed the directions exactly. I only ordered one filter (they’re expensive), so it took a while for the water to start filtering. I disposed of the first 3 pours, and then tested the water with my at home TDS reader. My tap water is reading around 275. Whereas the filtered water from this RO system is reading 300+ after being filtered. I have been filling and emptying the tank daily for over a week now and the reading has gone down but is still higher than my original tap water is reading. When I called customer service, the First Lady that I spoke to said that a TDS reader isn’t picking up the chemicals and plastics, etc that are filtered through their system. Which I understand, but that shouldn’t make the TDS reading increase. I just wanted an explanation for peace of mind that the expensive system I purchased is functioning properly. This representative told me that she was forwarding my concern to management and someone would be in touch. After not receiving a response for a few days I called again and spoke to someone for a half hour before they realized I needed to speak to a different part of the company. I was transferred to that line, where I left a voicemail for someone to contact me. Since I still have yet to receive any response, and I’m not convinced your product actually functions as you claim it to be, I will be returning this product and purchasing from a more reliable and responsive company. ... show more

Like it a lot, does leave a chalky taste in the water in the beginning. I would cycle through more than the recommended amount of water to prime the filters to prevent that chalky flavor.

I’ve had my water filter for about 6 months now and am so happy we bought one. It can take several filters at a time but I only use one to save them, as ceramic filters can be pricey. It works for me as I have 2 glass gallon containers that are filled daily. So we never have to wait long for our water needs.
