  • CERTIFIED GRAVITY WATER FILTER SYSTEM: Because ceramic water filters are designed to preserve beneficial minerals, they do not reduce TDS. Enjoy cleaner, safer drinking water with carbon and ceramic gravity water filters certified to NSF/ANSI 42 standards to reduce microplastics, lead, chlorine and Total PFAS forever chemicals while retaining essential minerals.
  • COMPATIBLE WITH BERKEY WATER FILTERS: This stainless steel gravity water filter system is compatible with Berkey Black BB9-2 water filter replacement and other popular gravity water filter replacements including Boroux, ProOne, Doulton, Purewell and Waterdrop filters.
  • EASY TO USE COUNTERTOP WATER FILTER: No electricity or plumbing required. Simply fill the gravity water filter dispenser and enjoy fresh filtered water anywhere in your home. Large capacity design provides enough drinking water for small families while reducing refill frequency.
  • POWERFUL CARBON & CERAMIC FILTRATION: Unlike many lower-cost gravity water filter systems, Culligan MaxClear combines a durable ceramic outer shell with proprietary carbon-based filtration media to reduce harmful contaminants while delivering cleaner, better tasting water.
  • DURABLE STAINLESS STEEL DESIGN: This countertop gravity water filter dispenser features a sleek brushed or polished stainless steel finish, stainless steel spigot & stand for easy dispensing. The compact nesting design stores at under 12 inches tall when not in use.

  • Ceramic filters are great!
I love this new water purifier! Water tastes delicious! And I'm not drinking water from my plastic one anymore!😇 Goodbye to the micro plastics!

  • So long PFAS!! So long PFAS!!
I have been increasingly getting more concerned about all of the toxins in our environment. We now know that most babies are born with microplastics already circulating in their blood. And that PFAS chemicals are everywhere and in almost everything and can cause immune system issues and more. I have battled various health issues that I feel like I shouldn't have. Anyway, I've been trying to clean up my environment...get rid of plastic products, etc. I intend to eventually get a reverse osmosis system for my kitchen sink but it's expensive and requires a contractor, etc. So I was waiting a little longer for that. I was so fortunate to find this on the Vine program! And it's really great! Here's why: -It's made of stainless steel, including the spigot, which is easy to clean and a healthy material. -It holds 2 1/2 gallons, which is great for me because I drink a lot of water. -It's quick and easy to put together. -It filters 99.4% of Chlorine and 99.6% or Chloramine -It filters 96.5% of all class 1 particulates (0.5 to 1 micron in size - examples are very fine clay, silt, rust, organic material, bacteria) -It filters 99.1 % of Lead. -It filters 99.6% of total PFAS chemicals! (This is fantastic and hard to find outside of reverse osmosis or other expensive water filtration systems) -Finally, it filters 96.5% of microplastics. -Water is crystal clear and tastes like water should - tasteless and refreshing! I would prefer closer to 100% for the microplastics. But that's way better than my former situation, which was just a Brita filter which does not remove microplastics at all. Nor PFAS. This comes with two ceramic filters and you can use one or both at once. The water - because it's using pure gravity and being so finely filtered, does take a LONG time to filter through. It's literally one drop at a time. So, a full 2 1/2 gallons can take like 8-12 hours to filter through. Using 2 filters will cut that in half, which I might do next time as I chose to use just one for now. Each filter is rated to filter 50 gallons of water, which I calculated would last me around 3 months. So, 5-6 months for 2 filters. I live alone so this would be less for larger families. Two replacement filters costs $146.00, so most of what you're paying for with this system is the filters. For me living alone, the annual cost to use this daily and year-round would be about $300 or so. Reverse Osmosis systems can cost $100-$300 a year for filter replacement after the initial cost of installing the system, depending on your system size and filter type. So, you can do the math. For me, right now, this is super convenient to have until I can get a permanent system. It can then also serve as a secondary system for my upstairs where I don't plan to have RO in place. The place where you install the filter could easily be used for other gravity type filters as well, as long as they are similar in design. My only critique is that there's no indicator that tells you when the filter is at the end of life. I will have to keep a log or checklist to essentially count the number of gallons I've run through it so I know when to change the filter. Once I figure out how long one lasts, I'll just go by time and not gallons. Still, I'm so happy to have WAY cleaner water than I'm not removing any stars for that. Great product and worth the investment for the health of you and your family. ... show more

  • An excellent filter marred by a far substandard tap
The steel drum is of good quality, and the ceramic filters are also of good quality. the mounting of the ceramic filters is a bit dubious because it depends on a fairly small piece of plastic and the filter sits kind of suspended about a quarter inch off of the bottom, but because the pieces are replaced together with the filter we should not have any kind of plastic erosion issues. Filtration is of high quality, probably the best in the market, and the ability to add a third filter would significantly improve water flow concerns. However, the cheap plastic tap is of such extremely poor quality. I don't know why they chose the tap, which is the part most interacted with, to save pennies on. It is a cheap chrome painted piece of plastic that looks ready to snap off with a half hearted shove. ... show more

  • Great tasting and healthy water for your family. Great tasting and healthy water for your family.
Great tasting water a level above the filtered counter top pitcher brand we have used forever. I have known the Culligan name and brand for over fifty years dating back to my original family home using a Culligan water softener. “Hey Culligan Man”. Can’t get that commercial jingle out of my mind. Fast forward to the present and new concerns about the quality and purity of the water we drink at home on elsewhere. We have been using the “B” brand filtered water with the counter pitcher for several years for no other reason than it was fairly affordable at our local big box retailer. The pitchers broke every couple of years and we used so much water, and therefore needed a second pitcher and a steady refill supply. Now we have to concern ourselves with microplastics and other contaminants and it seems the old solutions no longer worked. Several months ago I looked the Zero product as a replacement and also looked at the under counter filter system. I realized it wasn’t necessarily about the delivery vehicle but moreso about the quality of the filter and then the availability and convenience for users. This MaxClear Gravity system gave me another reason to research our options. So Culligan acquired Zero and is now bring best in class water filtering to the home and other environments. A counter pitcher swap is definitely a next step because I am sold on the MaxClear quality. The Gravity system and stainless steel vessels are a good solution where it works functionally. We were not able to find the right way or place to accommodate the size of the product in our kitchen so we set it up in a family room where we watch TV etc. everyone appreciates it giving quick and easy access to a healthy glass of water. We may move it around a bit yet to see where it works best. Culligan seem like they are investing in developing other form factor delivery systems so we will look for other ways to enjoy the excellence of their filter technology. Fridge filters will also be next after the counter pitcher. Do your own research. Culligan is a market leader and we will be happy to place our trust in their products for our health and safety. Highly recommended. ... show more

  • Water tastes great!
I am somewhat particular about my water tasting "clean" and I am very pleased with how clean my water tastes after using this water filter. I also love how much water it can hold (2.25 gallons), which means fewer water refills than your average water filtration system. Due to the hardiness of the container, I foresee it lasting me a long time. To clarify the type of materials it is made up of, in case anyone else was confused: the container is made of stainless steel, and the water filters are made of ceramic on the outside and carbon on the inside. This is my first time using ceramic water filters, and you can actually taste the difference. There is a hefty price tag attached to the product. I think it is worth it, though, in my personal opinion. However, if you are wanting to pay less and are less picky about the water taste and types of materials used, probably best to look elsewhere as you absolutely can find countertop water filtration at a lower cost. ... show more

  • Quality design/Highly functional Quality design/Highly functional
We love this Culligan Water Cooler. The design is stylish and the taste of the water is noticeably better than our tap water and the water filtered from our refrigerator. What's surprised us is how the convenience and visibility of the water cooler has increased the amount of fresh water we're drinking. Our consumption of sparkling water has decreased in half. The size of the water cooler takes little room on our counter and again, is a reminder to drink water regularly. The quality of construction is excellent. We've had zero leaks. The polished metal design meshes well with our kitchen appliances. Clean up is simple and fingerprints and smudges are easily removed. The spigot makes it simple to pour drinks, even for smaller children. The stand gets the spigot to a perfect height above the counter and the rubber mat eliminates any wobble on the stand. Assembly is simple with detailed instructions and a provided wrench. It took about ten minutes to assemble and fill. We went with one filter and used a provided plug to fill the other drainage hole. So as stated, the filtration process takes some time because the filter is very dense. So plan on a day or so to run the first three batches that you discard. The best products combine style and functionality. This water cooler is a home run on both counts. Visitors have already commented on the excellent taste and design. We feel lucky to have such a nice container providing us with the clean water we need every day. Thank you to the folks that designed this water cooler. ... show more

  • Looks great on my countertop.
Good quality container that looks great on my countertop. Easy to assemble and replace filters. I love the taste of the water too. But the replacement filters are expensive and don't last long. For me this was not a good value.
