  • THE ONLY GRAVITY FILTER CERTIFIED TO REMOVE MICROPLASTICS, LEAD & TOTAL PFAS: Enjoy cleaner, safer water with our carbon and ceramic water filter certified to NSF/ANSI-42 standards to reduce harmful contaminants. Each gravity water filter reduces microplastics, lead and forever chemicals, while keeping in essential minerals like calcium and magnesium. Ceramic filters are not designed to reduce TDS (total dissolved solids), so TDS readings may stay the same or slightly rise while still giving you healthier, safer water.
  • COMPATIBLE WITH BERKEY WATER FILTERS: All Berkey water filters fit inside Culligan gravity dispensers, including Berkey Black BB9-2 Water Filter Replacement. The Culligan MaxClear countertop water filter system is also compatible with Boroux, ProOne, Doulton, Purewell and Waterdrop replacement filters.
  • EASY INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE: No electricity or plumbing required. Place this water filtration system anywhere in your house and simply fill up a glass to enjoy fresh, clean drinking water. The large gallon capacity requires fewer refills, making it the perfect water filter for home, and provides enough daily drinking water for a small family of up to 3 people.
  • POWERFUL CARBON AND CERAMIC WATER FILTER: Culligan gives you certified filtration that lower priced gravity filters cant match. Unlike many low-cost gravity water filter system alternatives, our carbon and ceramic water filter features both a high-grade ceramic outer shell and a filter core that is made of proprietary carbon-based granular material to reduce contaminants.
  • COUNTERTOP WATER FILTER DISPENSER WITH DURABLE, SLEEK DESIGN: Our thoughtfully designed stainless steel water filter dispenser comes with a brushed finish for better-for-you hydration that looks good and tastes better. Includes a stainless steel spigot and stand for easy use. When youre finished, the Scout gravity water filter system nests within itself to store at less than 12 inches tall.

  • Purifiers Water Great!
Works great and easy to set up and use. I absolutely recommend this product for getting your water truly filtered.

  • Looks great, filtered water taste good
Assembly is easy and only takes a few minutes. Make sure to take care when opening and installing the filter cartridges. The rubber gasket behind the nut is very loose fitting and will fall off if you are not careful. Once tightened, the rubber gasket stays in place. The filters are large and there are 2 per filter system. There are silicone filter hole plugs so you can use only one cartridge at a time if you like. I have never used this type of filter before and was surprised to see that it took a while for the water to filter through, I just didn't know what to expect. I left it overnight and awoke to cold filtered water. The unit is powerless and so it is completely silent. The overall quality is amazing. All the way done to the spigot itself. It is entirely metal with silicone gaskets with metal washers. The spigot also has an internal removable filter screen. Teh eentire assembly, save teh knob, is made from metal, even the base. I think this, for me, is perfect for family gatherings, cookouts or parties. I think it's great to sit on the counter overnight as well. The stainless housing naturally cools the water. Once it has filtered the water you have put in, you can fill it again and it will continue to filter and add to the bottom tank. Just make sure you have a little empty space in the bottom tank to allow flow. Each filter comes with a cleaning sponge, make sure to clean them prior to the first use and after long periods of storage. Also, being that the filters are ceramic, they can be extremely fragile, make sure not to bang them or drop them. The all-stainless construction with the Culligan name in raised in 3D adds a touch of class to any room. This isn't the typical water filter system you will see in someone's home. We have huge family gatherings and its usually tea and water for the main beverages. These should last us for several events. I'm excited to use them. Everything stores together. The tanks slide together for storage. The base legs store separately, but they fit right on top of the unit. It makes it very convenient to take with us on the road, even when camping. The water taste good coming out, absolutely no complaints. I made sure to wash the tank pieces before I used them. ... show more

  • CAUTION- filter ADDS Total Dissolved Solids; unable to verify other filtering
After using the filter for 7 tank refills, I decided to test the water before and after the filter. I purchased an electronic measuring tool for total dissolved solids (TDS), and measured the water before and after filtration. Before filtration it registered at 151ppm of TDS. After filtration through the Culligan, it was 267ppm. This makes no sense to me. Why would the dissolved solids be higher? Is the filter really added solids? To verify the tool, I tested distilled water which measured at 0 to 1 ppm of TDS. I want to believe that the Culligan system is filtering out PFAS, microplastics, etc. But I cannot reconcile that with the test results. If I had the time, I would take test samples and send them to a lab, but I would first need someone to tell me how this filter could filter out the bad stuff but add other solids to the water. Update- I spoke with Culligan and their support rep stated that this filter uses a ceramic filter that DOES NOT FILTER PARTICULATES, and that it is possible they add particulates. I suggested that they disclose that. I also asked how they meet the NSF 42 (odor, color particulates) and 53 (health risk particulates). She could only say that we need to rely on the test results they have disclosed on their website that the filter does remove these at 96 to 99%. I really wanted this filter to work for us. I contacted a water quality specialist, and it sounds like the only way to determine if the one you bought has the same results as they claim would be to do a separate independent lab test of your water. To measure removal percentage, you would need to test the water before the filter and after the filter. (2 samples) I checked with local labs and it looks like this is an expensive process, especially for microplastics and pfas (forever chemicals, pharmaceuticals, pesticides). Much, much more costly than the unit itself. Bottom line- it does not work for particulates and Culligan admits that. I have no idea if it works for the other contaminates but this puppy is getting returned to Amazon. ... show more

  • Looks like art and works like science
This water filter is gorgeous. The informative part follows. I just wanted to mention that this looks like high quality gear. It fits in perfectly along with our stainless steel appliances. The instructions were straightforward and easy to follow. Doing the initial set up didn’t take long, but it did need about two days before it was truly up and running. The filtration is relatively slow compared to the water pitcher filter we had prior, but in this case we’re dealing with large enough amounts that it doesn’t matter if it’s on the slower side. We’re also prior owners of another famous brand of countertop water filter, and I can’t begin to describe how superior this version is. We have a toddler at home, so lead was a huge consideration for us. The old version from the other brand didn’t remove lead, but this one does. I’m also very happy that it removes microplastics and PFAS. That stuff doesn’t belong in anybody, but that’s especially true for little kids. There are other huge advantages to a filtration system like this. We don’t need to carry heavy cases of water, for one. We are avoiding plastic and every little bit you don’t bring into the house counts. We also did the math and this is less expensive than the water bottled in plastic from the grocery store. Yes, you need to replace filters so there is a running cost, but you get pure water with this system and no plastics. Best of all, this produces excellent tasting water. Not all filters do that, but this one does. There’s no smell to it either. It’s a great neutral base for use in cooking and drinks. This system eliminates so many things that can cause stress. Worth every penny in my opinion. ... show more
