I bought this originally for bacon, but it does hotdogs great as well as anything you want a sear pattern on the ridged bottom is a little deep, and is hard to clean, but comes with a tool to help get between the ridges. The clear top and handle are a big plus for keeping from burning your hand accidentally. Love this pan for any sausage cooking. ... show more

I purchased this to cook steaks and vegetables. Does a really good job in the ooni oven. Cleanup with provided tool helps. Needs some effort. Still worth it based on the finished product.

The size is perfect for 2 large steaks or 4 small steaks. Quality construction and tempered lid keeps splatter contained. Price was worth it! Lots of extras that are very useful. Will buy again for my other home!

Preheat, for three or four minutes, low/medium heat if using propane and medium heat for natural gas. Fast cooking time so watch or use a timer. If you don't burn the food, just rinse, if burned scrape then soak and reoil. I use olive oil, always. Best pan for steaks, chops, sausage, etc. Use lid, it keeps meat moist. ... show more

    • A glass lid covered stovetop oven with raised drainage ribs, wonderful.
For what this can do, no kitchen should be without one of these cookware pans. Yet cast iron pots and pans are relatively slow to get up to cooking temperatures and their getting higher than a desired cooking temperature can happen when trying to rapidly heat cast iron, so set the stove temperature to where it needs to be and then give the cast iron the time it needs to get to that temperature. Set the cooking temperature to a lower heat, brush a skinless, boneless chicken thigh with EVOO, sprinkle on any desired seasonings, put the thigh on this pan's preheated ribs, put the pan's glass cover on, let it cook until done and it will not be necessary to flip or turn the thigh over, thoroughly cooked and juicy. ... show more
