First off, if you are coming to the reviews while deciding to buy, these look exactly like the pic for the sets . second I bought the 17pc set #3 . that's 17 pieces total from pans to holder to accessories. 9 pots or pans (Dutch oven lid doubles as a pan), one lid which fits the square pan, one pan holder shelf, 2 scrapers ( 1 textured 1 flat) and 6 silicone handles. These are easy to use once you aquaint yourself with how cast iron is and proper cleaning methods. They are heavy. It's cast iron not some flimsy pan so be prepared to carry in a heavy box or unbox on your porch and carry in the individual packing boxes. Our came in a variety of sizes for all of someone's cooking needs. The smaller 6in is great for eggs or single burger etc or to bake up a small batch of corn bread in. The heat distribution is much better than a thin pan there is less uneven heat temps like a cheapo pan with Teflon. So while the part on the burner may be slightly hotter, overall the heat is better distributed. If you preheat these to a good temp and use oil or butter, things shouldn't stick , make sure to keep a decent amt going. I can't stress how good of a value this set is!! I've priced pieces individually in stores and one piece can be $30-50. I've also priced second hand pieces and they want more $ than buying new
