Have had this table top heater for only a few days now but I can report that it does a good job in taking the chill out. I live in east central Florida where it does not get very cold for long periods of time. Our chilly nights are usually in the low 40's to low 60's. The heater performs well in this temperature range. It provides enough heat to take the chill out of the air when close to it. It radiates heat around it nicely but dissipates as you move back from it a few feet. It's mostly like any other heat source in that regard. I do however like the heat being directed downward toward the knees and feet. Mine sits on a table that's about 15" high. A one pound canister will last about two hours on high. I'm well satisfied with my heater and can recommend it. ... show more

Bottom line, it works. The heat output is decent if you are sitting next to it. Like other reviews mentioned, the fuel goes out pretty fast (10-14 mins). Unique to my little heater, the fuel would appear to run out and I would turn it off, unscrew the propane canister, then allow the canister to sit for a few minutes. I would then reattach the same propane canister and turn the heater on, and the heater would heat for a few more minutes. The heater didn't seem to exhaust all the fuel when it went out the first time and I could still feel that there was more fuel in the canister. I figured it was and old canister issue and bought a brand new Coleman propane canister, and the heater did the same thing. I give this heater a very, very weak 4 stars because of the rapid fuel exhaustion (there are options for a 20lb tank hookup), failure to use all of the fuel in one application, pricey (about 20 bucks cheaper than my 55,000BTU tall propane heater), and the short heat radius. It's cute, it works (with some issues), and, oddly enough, I'd still recommend this product to a friend if they were interested. ... show more

I wanted a nice looking heater that was powerful enough to heat a patio sitting area yet small enough to not be an overpowering eyesore. This heater is perfect! Puts out enough heat to take the chill off yet is nice and small to be no problem to store away in the off season.

This propane heater is advertised to heat a 100sq ft area. Doing the math, one would expect to feel heat standing 5.5 feet away from the unit. However, it does not produce heat past approximately 2 ft. So in reality it heats a 12.5sq foot area. Approximately 1/10th the claimed performance in the product listing. Completely false item description. Buy something else. This is a product designed for the landfill. I got my money back from Amazon. ... show more
