This cone collar is soft and more comfortable than the normal plastic cones that I have had to use for my dog in the past. It is also much more convenient when not in use as you are able to fold it and put it away.

We used this on our dog as he recovered from an injury. It is easy to put on and remove and the cone is a smaller diameter than the plastic one. The softer fabric is nice. But the material does make it more difficult for your dog to see where they are walking or navigating stairs. We alternated between this one and the clear plastic cone for that reason.

Much better than plastic cone that vet sends your dog home in. Nice and soft but stiff enough so your dog can’t lick their incision. I would recommend this item

We got this soft cone for our 7 month old Great Dane puppy after an unexpected vet visit and it worked very well for two weeks of almost constant use. The white edging is reflective, making it easy to see for middle of the night potty breaks, and the soft texture meant our doggie fell asleep quickly in comfort. We were able to get the collar on and off with relative ease for mealtimes and were also able to wash and dry slobber off of it quickly. The only reason I'm giving it four stars is that towards the end of needing to wear the cone, our pup figured out that he could get it in his mouth and chewed through a small section of the stitching, exposing the cotton batting in that one section. The rest of the sections stayed intact and I repaired it.
