I was referred to this product by my vet tech as my little Chihuahua was having some issues with expressing his anal glands and when they would express them, the stuff material that came out was rather grainy and pasty and not the way it should’ve been so they recommended this product to give him to help change the texture of the material and help him be able to express his anal glands better himself when he would poop. He’s been using this for about the last three months and the last 2 times had his 2 glands expressed they said that the material that came out was perfect. So I will continue using this for him and he seems to like it ok as I just crumble it in his dinner every night and it’s worked terrific. He is 6 1/2 pounds so I give him a half of a tablet every day so I get a double supply when I buy a container of it since he doesn’t need to have so much so it makes it more cost-effective. Anyway, I highly recommend this product if you dog has anal gland issues .

Skip anal gland expressing! These work amazing for our Shichon and Yellow Lab! No more butt scoot, or licking, or sudden intensely nasty smell! I give out yellow lab 3 a day (1 at a time as his treat when coming in from going potty), and I give out Shichon 1 a day. These really work, and I highly recommend them!

Tii hi is one actually works for our dog. This is the first anal gland supplement that really works for our dog. We have tried other supplements in the past with marginal results but this one has kept ourpupoutof the vets office and comfortable now for several months.

I have had my dog for 4 1/2 years and she’s 4 1/2 and ever since she was born she has had digestive issues and it took me a good two years to get someone to finally explain to me and tell me about Glandex and now she gets it every day. It has been the best and only thing that has worked for her digestive snd anal gland systems. I’ve tried yogurt and I’ve tried pumpkin, but those just did not want to work for her. If your dog has digestive issues I highly recommend this product and the flavoring is great. She absolutely loves it. But the only one she will eat is the duck flavored

Our dog has pretty bad leaky anal glands. After she eats something about an hour later she will express her anal glands on furniture and it's a decent amount. I was skeptical about if this was going to work. For the first week she did have diarrhea and loose stool, but after that first week her stool firmed up and so long as she takes this supplement every day she does not express her anal glands on furniture. She's not even on the full dose she's taking half a dose (she's 30 lbs and would normally take two chews) and it is working this well, though I did buy the advanced strength just to ensure it would work. The one critique I have is that it is pretty pricey. My husband and I are wondering if a simple fiber supplement would work just as well since the concept should just be firm poop = pressure on the anal glands to express them. My husband and I will be experimenting with rolled oats once this product is used up to see if it is just as effective and I will report back with my findings.

This is the only anal gland treat I will give my dogs!! I have 2 chugs (chihuahua pug mix). My girl has horrible poops! They were always soft or had a lot of mucus. She was scooting her butt in between getting her glands expressed. I decided a yr or so ago to try anal gland chews hoping it would help in some way. This was my one and only brand I tried and I will never try anything else. It's not a cure for her anal glands but she no longer scoots her poops are actually firmer and no more mucus. My male also takes them and his gut health seems much better also. My male is a very picky eater and he loves these!! I mean loves them! The price is very affordable. I still take my girl in for her anal glands once a year so these have helped tremendously!

These work! Unfortunately, they work really well... lol. We have 2 dachshunds that have repeated gland issues and initially, we tried the basic version, which they didn't like, but when we switched to this one (advanced strength) they loved them. They get upset if I forget to put them in their breakfast bowl. Our dogs are 11 and 14 pounds, so I just give them half and that is enough. When I say 'unfortunately' I mean that we occasionally get a lot of 'fragrance' coming from the natural gland expression, but that doesn't last long and they haven't had to have their anal glands manually expressed by the vet in more than a year. These are super soft and easy to break apart with your fingers. I think that the soft nature is one of the things that makes them so desirable for our dogs, who are picky about 'treats'.
