We started using the Glandex Anal Gland Soft Chews for our Aussie who had an awful odor ALL THE TIME. We wanted something easy we could add into his normal routine, and these have been a game changer for us. The chews are easy to give, he takes them like they're a treat which is nice. The bottle gives exact dosage per day. We were looking for a fiber based supplement, and this has a good blend of ingredients designed to help with healthy digestion and natural gland expression. In terms of results, we did notice a major improvement after about 1-2 weeks of using them consistently. We have now been using them for about 2 years and, when consistent, he experiences WAY less issues than we were dealing with pre-supplement. So, it's not an overnight fix, but with regular use it seems to help maintain things and reduce how often we run into issues. Overall, it's been a helpful supplement for our dog that was a super easy addition to his daily routine. We love that it's more preventative and he aboslutely loves them. If your dog struggles with similar symptoms, this is a convenient option to try.

This flavor and strength works really well. My dog was picky about the peanut butter one and it didn’t seem to work very well, but she loves this duck/bacon flavor and it works great! Extra strength for the win! She is a mini dachshund (16lbs) and I give her one a day. It’s worth it! No more needing to get her anal gland expressed at the vet.

My 30lb labradoodle has been on these chews for several years and takes 2 daily as directed. She genuinely enjoys them — zero issues getting her to eat them — so palatability is a real win. The honest verdict on effectiveness: her anal gland issues haven’t resolved. She still has the classic signs (fishy smell, scooting/licking for relief), and we still need periodic vet expressions. That said, I can’t say the product made things worse, and her overall digestion seems fine. If your dog has mild gland issues, this might be enough. For more chronic cases like ours, it may be a helpful supplement alongside vet care rather than a standalone fix.

Our boy has had liquid poop (almost always in the house which caused him to eat it for fear of getting in trouble) problems on/off for most of his life as a result of lyme/meningitis as a puppy. We would treat with kaopectate when it happened but it was unpredictable. We tried proplan probiotics with some improvement but not consistently. We added glandex and never looked back. The boy has not had a poop in the house since. He has an occasional soft poop but not liquid ever. Him and my little dog have the most consistent stools that ive ever seen. Glandex turned our weak-gut kid into a garbage gut like our little one. Were here for life. Best part about it is that we can hid other pills in the glandex because the dogs like it that much and theyre soft enough!

My pup started having a leaky bum that smelled horrible so we were often washing couch covers and blankets. I was encouraged to start my pup on Apoquel but I was not at all impressed by the cost. While searching for something else that would be as effective and lower priced, I read that Apoquel could damage his kidneys; stopped that med right away. I tried several different brands of chews and the most reasonably priced and most effective was Vetnique. My dog eagerly eats these chews, he loves them. I don't know what I would do without Vetniqueand I am very thankful for it. Changed our whole experience. I buy it exclusively and highly recommend it.

So I think it works but my boy cannot handle it. He did stop scooting BUT has had almost continuous diarrhea since starting Glandex. He is a Labradoodle and true to his breed he has digestive issues, I think this formula is just too much for him. It’s sad because I do think it works. My veterinarian recommended this product so it has good backing in my opinion. He was on it two months before I stopped giving it to him.

I’m have been using this for about 5 years for my Yorkie. It has drastically reduced her glandular issues. Every once in a while he has a bad smell but 99% of the time, no problems. He is 10 years old now & it has been a blessing to control that issue
