The crimper works great and the MC4 connectors are good quality. The included plastic tools are good for tightening the weather seal plug, but its pair of pins that are supposed to release the joining hooks for separating mating connectors are not a good fit for the MC4 prongs. Would buy again but I'll look for a different disconnector tool. ... show more

If you are looking for an easy to use, fairly priced option, look no further. I have used this kit to crimp several ends on various cables and it is always a breeze. The carry case is a nice throw-in but nothing to write home about. It's gets the job done.

I bought this to fix one of my connectors from my solar panel. It worked like a charm. I just wish it had a wire stripper included in the case. I was able to use it to make more exact length wires. It is very easy to use.
