Description

Cystease urinary tract support for cats is a supplement that has been designed to support the bladder lining of your cats. Stress can adversely affect the integrity of the bladder lining of your cat and unfortunately there are many factors that can cause stress in cats. Inter-cat conflict, moving house, new arrivals to the home environment and car travel, to name just a few. Cystease contains optimal amounts of n-acetyl glucosamine and hyaluronic acid which are key components of the gag lining (the lining of the bladder wall) and l-tryptophan which has been proven to reduce stress-related behaviour in cats. Cystease should be taken orally, either given whole or broken open and mixed with food, and it is recommended that it should be used with feliway to achieve the best results.

Been using this for about a month now. My kitty has cystitis and she was miserable! We finished the 2 week regimens for her weight. When we decreased within a day she was peeing everywhere again or trying to. Then I started with 2 pills a day for 2 weeks. Turned to drop her down to 1 pill and she started again. I'm gonna give her the 2 pills for a while and try again later. I do have several plugins around the house and we have multiple cats. I think our problem might be 2 of them competing for territory. Good product so far. It's only been a week, my girl is feeling better. Going to the litter box much less frequently, more calm etc. It's taking quite a few days to get her pee balls larger though. I'm still on the loading dose, so I don't know what's going to happen when I have to go down to once daily. Terrible customer service though. Not at all helpful and a bit rude. ... show more

I put it on tuna and my normally finicky cats ate the hell out of it - just that far IMPRESSED ME!!!! I ordered this because I have Siamese that are subject to crystal build up in their bladders. Anyway the product came at the same time I was about to call by vet for an appt. - so I put a pill opened and dumped into tuna while keeping more fluids in her system and so far I believe the product may have staved off some huge bills… My cat exhibits symptoms well in advance of any problematics and I believed she was headed for uti with the way she began sleeping away from everything, not being so active and her eyes glassy. Two days later (with this product) and she’s back to normal - a test kit revealed a slightly elevated ph but that was all - reviewing with the vet. I think this helped her A TON. ... show more

My cat has a long history of urinary obstruction, and urinary bladder inflammation. I have been using Cystease regularly for three months now, and my cat has not had any urinary issues. Hopefully this will continue.

My cat was going to the litter box 20 times a day and urinating just tiny bits for months. Took her to the vet and they told me she had cystitis and there was not much that could be done for her. I gave this to her mixed in wet food initially and didn’t notice a difference. I then started giving her the capsule whole, twice a day and within 3 days her urination has been almost back to normal. I just received this product for my kitty and have yet to see how it it works, but please note the instructions on the bottle vs the box differ for the maintenance phase. The bottle says 2 capsules a day for a kitty over 3kg for maintenance, and the box says 1 per day for kitties over 3kg (ignore the markings I put on the bottle for the initial 2 week period). I think the dose for a kitty over 3kg for a maintenance period is probably 1 capsule a day as it is less for the less than 3kg kitty dose for maintenance. ... show more
