Description

Cystease urinary tract support for cats is a supplement that has been designed to support the bladder lining of your cats. Stress can adversely affect the integrity of the bladder lining of your cat and unfortunately there are many factors that can cause stress in cats. Inter-cat conflict, moving house, new arrivals to the home environment and car travel, to name just a few. Cystease contains optimal amounts of n-acetyl glucosamine and hyaluronic acid which are key components of the gag lining (the lining of the bladder wall) and l-tryptophan which has been proven to reduce stress-related behaviour in cats. Cystease should be taken orally, either given whole or broken open and mixed with food, and it is recommended that it should be used with feliway to achieve the best results.

Excellent for my kittoh urinary issues - I have used it successfully to prevent cystitis flare ups and reverse partial blockages - when there is an active blockage I use Cystease alongside my Now brand pure D mannose powder and the Nature’s Answer brand corn silk drops as they are alcohol free. Using Cystease regularly has resulted in no further bladder stones or crystal issues. We never want to have a urinary tract blockage in this family ever again and I feel confident we won’t face any trouble as long as I keep my Cystease in stock. I was disappointed I can’t find it many places as I’m assuming it’s been discontinued in the United States. I’m very thankful sellers in other countries are keeping it listed on Amazon. I have never seen any side effects and as the capsule is easy to open and it mixes well into a Churu or similar treat, it’s easy to give to my food motivated bebes. If your cat has idiopathic cystitis this is the most important supplement for them. even more important than prescription foods. you can find larger bottles for much cheaper on other sites. my cat has improved drastically. i gave him 2x for one month now 1x as maintenance. he also has a prescription medicine which is important as well. but with Cystease his condition is much easier and less scary to manage! also get your cat off dry food. ... show more

My cat developed FIC a few months ago and has had a few scary flares since. I did some research on the best products alongside prescription food etc & came across an overwhelming amount of recommendations for Cytease. I give one capsule daily in my cat’s wet food with probiotics & dilute with water and I truly think there’s been a huge difference. So far he has not had a flare since being on this and I’m keeping my fingers crossed it stays that way. Anyone that deals with an FIC kitty knows how scary it can get during flares - I would HIGHLY recommend this product. I wish there were an option to buy it in bulk. It’s easy to pop open to dispense on food, and seems to have no side effects + is generally very safe for your cats to take. I asked my vet first before giving this however when doing so I was told by my vet it’s a great product! ... show more

The only thing that has helped my cat with pain/inflammation. This had stopped his inappropriate urination after trying a billion different things. Stock up when it’s available!!

This definitely helped my male cat with idiopathic cystitis and crystals make normal-sized pees within a day. However, it seemed to give him very soft stools at the recommended maintenance dose of even just 1 capsule per day. I am now giving him 1/4 capsule twice a day mixed in a Churu treat, which seems to be effective without the GI upset. He is already on Hills C/D prescription food and gabapentin already, but had a few stress-induced flares recently. ... show more

I don’t want to jinx it but even within 1 day I have seen a total shift in my cat. My vet gave me gabapentin and clomipramine. He always seemed zonked off the clomipramine and the gaba would make him have muscle spasms the day after I gave it to him. So far this just puts him back into his normal calm self. My 3 year old cat Miko was diagnosed with FIC this past year. He had his first blockage in December 2025. Once he came home I immediately took to the internet to find more information and I was so glad to have found a FB group that led me to finding this product, among other things. Miko is doing great and has been on this now for almost 7 months. Our whole lives have been changed with this illness but I attribute much of his success to this supplement. His diagnosis is stress induced and this product is the only thing that actually helps heal his bladder lining, which is affected by the stress. I have a male cat named Salem with FLUTD, likely FIC as he has no crystals or sediment. It's a new diagnosis and so far, after easing back on gabapentin his symptoms have come back once already. Much like many other cat parents, I sought out solutions to prevent having to put Salem on fluoxetine for stress. So far, a combination of food for urinary health, calm down treats, and these capsules has kept him doing ok. He's drinking more water lately and I'm not sure if that's related to him feeling better or not, but when the FIC symptoms were really bad he wasn't doing that as much. I do also have cosequin on hand in case this product didn't work out for some reason, but so far it's been positive. Very easy to mix into a wet treat or food. He doesn't notice it and it ends up looking exactly the same as the unmedicated portions. ... show more
