I am a Mac user, then after formatting and partitioning (exFAT and APFS) it kept a high speed transfer rate (between 800 and 1000Mbps). I also moved some games from steam and It ran without problem so far. Super small and portable.

Absolutely love how awesome this has been for me! It's worked beautifully with my Mac and iPad to extend storage and I've been able to easily and quickly put all my art and videos onto it for safe keeping. I love the small size it is for easy carrying and the light indicator for while syncing content. I will say, it wasn't clear on the listing here on Amazon as to its size, but just know, it's smaller than an iPhone 4s. When I looked at the photos on Amazon of it, I was picturing it to be bigger than my iPhone 14 Pro, but it fits perfectly in my small hands and is super light weight! I changed the drive format from xFAT to NTFS. Windows uses NTFS and I wanted it to be the same as Windows. It doesn't have to be the same for some backup softwares, but does for others. xFAT can work on Windows, Linux, macOS, which is why that is used when you get the drive. To reformat, copy all the files that come on the drive over to your computer or somewhere, and then reformat. Just right click on the Drive letter in File Explorer to reformat. Takes less than 1 minute. Don't format the wrong drive, because formatting removes everything from the drive. The drive is working perfectly, no issues, does not get hot. The cable is USB C on both ends. This cable is only 7 inches long or so you might want to also buy an extension cable. If your computer or device only has USB A and not USB C, then make that extension cable a USB C to USB A cable. ... show more

First of all, what I like about this SSD: - The size is great. It's super small and easily fits in my pockets. It can even fit into my wallet if needed. - The terabyte of space is more than enough for me. It's pretty easy to make folders and organize my files. From pictures and videos. - There aren't any slowdowns or choppyness. All the videos and images I put on uploaded almost instantly and kept the original definition. - The SSD seems very well constructed. I'm always leaning on the side of caution so it would be rare that it would ever be in a position where it could be damaged in the first place, but the metal build is very nice. A few negatives about the SSD include: - There is no password protection like advertised. I'm also not sure if it includes the encryption. - The program does not interface well with my on device gallery. To open files I have to use a file manager and select images one by one. Definitely something to keep in mind if you are using this as a gallery backup for something like photography. - The included cable is nice, but it is somewhat of a hassle to use everytime I want to use the SSD. I wish there was an included case to hold everything together to things have no chance of getting lost. I still think that this is a great SSD and will continue to use it. There are just somethings that aren't said in the advertising that should be taken into consideration before buying it ... show more

Love this little thing, cost a little more for this SSD version but it was well worth it. I've had mines for about a year now and I really like it. This thing transfers files super fast, and is compatible with just about anything you plug it into. I haven't had any issue whatsoever.
