I have two sides to my yard and two faucets . I bought a fancy WiFi timer that I had trouble programming and it kept telling me oil needed to by something additional to make it run. I had bought one of these for the other side. Finally got fed up with the expensive one and bought a second one of these. It’s easy to use easy to program and a great price point. Dislike the lack of mount bracket, is it designed to stay on the faucet. Was able to mount it to my greenhouse tubing. Ease of use was excellent. I was able to set it up and use it without the instructions however instructions are easy to read

Easy to program, works great. I really like that you can turn on any of the outlets immediately, or program a schedule. I just laid some grass seed and it saved me from having to manually water areas twice a day. NOTE: You have to use the supplied rubber washer or it will leak. Once that's in, it's good to go. For the money, I think this is a no brainer if you are laying multiple hoses for a project!

It's a pretty straightforward device that gets the job done. While it's designed for just one outlet, it offers a decent range of options. Setting the timer is relatively simple. You can specify the watering duration, frequency, and even the start and stop times. This flexibility lets you set it to water every other day, every third day, or even twice a week, depending on your needs. I like the manual watering feature it gives me quick access If I need to turn on the water immediately without altering any programming, it's right there at my fingertips. The timer uses two AA batteries, which means you'll need to keep an eye on battery levels, especially if you have frequent or complex watering schedules. The absence of an app or Wi-Fi connectivity also makes this a more basic option compared to some high-tech timers on the market. Durability is a concern, as this is plastic. While it seems sturdy enough for now, only time will tell how it holds up to regular use and outdoor conditions. Lastly, the programming does have a bit of a learning curve since everything is done directly on the timer itself. Once you get the hang of it, it becomes easier to use, but initially, it may take some time to familiarize yourself with the settings. I would have liked an app where it would have been easier to program.

I was excited to get this and to hook it all up!! I set up the timer and everything inside, and then went to go set it up. Timer was easy to follow and understand how to set it up. Appears that you can only delay the watering for 1 day; too bad you can't push it out multiple hours. I used the Teflon tape to make sure I had a good leak free connection with the threads, only to have have the timer leak below the gasket collar. There's nothing I can do. Really frustrating. There needs to be better QC and or, an improvement of the design to stop this leaking in this manner. Now a replacement simply doesn’t reliabley seal. Valve does not reliable close after allowing water to pass through for 20 minutes. Occasionally it does, other times it just runs for hours requiring someone to have to manually turn off the water. Save yourself time and save your garden. Don’t risk it.

BATTERIES DO NOT COME WITH THIS DEVICE. I HAVE NOT USED IT YET, BUT IT LOOKS LIKE IT SHOULD WORK FINE. FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS TO PROGRAM IT. MANUAL USE APPEARS TO BE AS SIMPLE AS PUSHING A BUTTON. YOU DON'T HAVE TO PUSH A BUTTON AND HOLD IT UNTIL THE SPRINKLER TURNS ON AS SOME OTHER BRANDS DO.
