Furick Cup - FUPA Twin 12 Welding Cup Kit with Titanium Cover (Qty 1) - 901-01012-1221 Comes with 2 full cups, spare gas lens diffuser, o-rings for mounting, and Titanium protector. Carries an Issued US Patent on the Diffuser design has an inside diameter of .750 inches/ 19mm and is recommended for DC polarity applications only, It uses anywhere from 20-30 + CFH of Argon flow. It is recommended for 3/32 / 2.4mm tungsten size and carries a 180 amp rating on constant amperage. It can go higher if using pulse settings. It is hand made in the USA of Borosilicate laboratory grade glass. Due to the nature of the Glass “walking the Cup “ is not suggested. Fupa 12 Mounting If you have a 17, 18 or 26 size torch you will need a 17 kit. If you have a 9 or 20 torch you will need to have a 45V44 gas lens, If you have one already, you can surely use it. Keep in mind that import brands yield lower results.

As a hobby welder, I often play with setting, controlled arc height, different types and sizes of tungstens, and of course different types of metal and thicknesses. Recently, I had purchased a size #16 alumina cup and started an art project on stainless. The gas coverage allowed me to control my temps and get the colors that I wanted easily. The only drawback was views were obstructed. So, after seeing the Furic Pyrex cups being used with views afford by looking through the cup, I knew I had to have one. Upon receiving my new Furic Pyrex cups (#12, #14 and #16), I immediately started to the TIG table and throwing down beautiful beads on a piece of stainless. Wow, what a difference it made to be able to see my work in progress through the cups. I tried out all three sizes and found my neck not near as tired due to not having to lean over as much,. The price is a bit high, but if you can swing the cost, it is worth the expense. Would I recommend to my friends? Yes, in a heat beat. Will I by more of the Furic product line? Yes, I will complete my set as the year goes by. Bottom line, if you want a great way to get the gas coverage you need to lay down some beautiful beads that you need to see through the cups you use, I would definitely recommend this product. ... show more

This cup is crazy nice. Gas coverage is amazing! You can weld all day with 1/2" stick out and be good as gold with gas coverage. You get two cups and one fancy titanium cover. I suggest using it as no one wants to break this expensive cup. Well worth the money. People who love welding will be leaning towards this work of art cup. You can use most typical cheap but good gas lens kits sold all over Amazon. Just use the supplied O rings on it and weld away. I purchased a high quality American made gas lens to use with this to have the best experience possible. ... show more

Outstanding product! I welded up some 10 gauge mirror stainless steel that I had problems welding without the Furick cup before I got it. Works great. I recommend it for stainless steel. Package comes with two cups, O-rings, Screens, and Titanium Cover. Looks great. If you are already a good welder, this will help keep your welds clean 👍🏼 Definitely a must have if you are TIG welding and love a clean good looking weld
