This thing is HEAVY!!! But so beautiful, the enamel is fairly strong too (only got a few chips in 3 years). Holds a TON of soup too. However the lid has rusted a bit around the parts exposed without enamel. You’ll need to wash this very carefully to avoid this, I was not so good about that. Avoid strong dish soap, use only a bit of water, and dry immediately after. ... show more

This dutch oven is great. Going to retire my grandma’s old pot. I am impressed and looking at other cookware options. Not sure what the difference is between this and the $300+ “brand name” versions. I am incredibly happy with this purchase. I have never owned a Dutch oven before and when I started baking bread I wanted to buy one. I am typically someone who indulges in the “designer” version if I know it is something I will have for life and never have to purchase again … but the competitor is $400+ and I see zero difference in quality or aesthetic for that matter so the indulgence was not worth it to me. I took my chance and purchased and I am SO HAPPY I did. This product is very heavy and high quality. I have now been using for 10 months and there is no damage (any thing you see on the sides is not permanent and scrubs right off). I purchased the 7 qt and it’s probably larger than I need but now it can be used for more. I love this product! I live in an apartment with a small amount of storage space but if I move I will buy the smaller version as well. Great investment and highly recommend! ... show more
