The Strategy 13 piece set is a complete cookware set to get you cooking. The set includes 2 quart. And 3 quart. Saucepans with lids, a 3.5 quart. Saute pan with lid, a 7.5 quart. Stockpot with lid, 2 long handles and 2 side handles in stainless steel. Handles are made from brushed stainless steel that is oven safe to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. However we advise you to remove handles when using in an oven. The set is made in France and comes with a limited lifetime warranty. All of the cookware in the set is compatible with all cooking surfaces including induction. This sets versatility is expanded with an 8" universal steamer that fits the 2 quart. And 3 quart. Saucepans, a 3 quart. Bain Marie that fits the 3 quart. Saucepan and a 7 quart. Pasta basket that fits the 7.5 quart. Stockpot.

I did A LOT of research on pots/pans before I chose Cristel. I have very limited storage space in our motorhome and wanted a small footprint and with the detachable handles, these really do stack within themselves nicely. The lids are also very easy to store even though they are glass because they are flat and don't have the knobs on the top. The whole set literally takes up 1/4 the space my old set took. These also work on electric, gas and induction stove tops which is what I needed for being "on the road". I wanted quality cookware that I could actually cook with without the fear of elements being leaked into my food and went with this set (I did buy one Cristel small nonstick pan separately for fish and eggs just in case) after reviewing, etc. I was worried about clean up, but have not had any issues at all. I even left rice on for too long (oops!) and the pot cleaned up nicely to my surprise. I've hand cleaned and used the dish washer and have been very pleased with how they clean up and look. No hot spots, quick heat up and my meats brown up beautifully. I was worried about the handles, but the long and short handles are easy to connect on and detach with ONE hand and NOT have to hold on to the pot/pan in order to detach the handle with the other hand. The pot/pan are very stable when lifting which was a huge selling point for me. It has taken a little effort to get use to putting the handles on and off since I'm use to the permanent handled sets, but I'm getting the hang of it. It is actually nice not having to arrange my cookware on the stove so that handles are not bumping into each other. I also like the short handles to put on and put the pot right onto a trivet on the table. They look so nice to serve in. Now that I've had these for a few weeks, and used them every day since, I can safely say these are the best pot/pans I've ever owned. They are spendy, but worth it for me and our situation. I bought these expensive pots and pans and I have had them less than a year and have rarely use them and they are developing rust spots with a little cracks. Theyrr supposed to be stainless steel.

I have owned this cookware for about 15 years. It's still like new. I particularly like the removable handle. Less room to store, and any piece (except non stick) can go in the oven. I've also had the same handle and it's never once malfunctioned. I can't say enough nice things about it. I would order the non stick skillets, but according to Cook's Magazine, it really is foolish to spend a lot of money on non stick as it ALL wears out. ... show more
