This is a nice but very compact push mower. It was easy to assemble, the small compact design makes it easy to handle and is very useful for trimming under low hanging trees and bushes. It has 2 keys with it and are needed to start the mower. My wife is disabled and cannot cut grass long, and she prefers these battery operated mowers as it makes her stop and rest. I myself prefer to get the job done but occasionally I did enjoy being forced to take a break while batteries charged. I am a short person, 5'2", and this mower is more suitable for a person my height and even shorter, it would not be for a taller person (6 feet or so) as it would require them to stoop while mowing. ... show more

The Craftsman 15” push mower is an excellent option for smaller yards or for those who need something portable enough to take to remote locations. One of its biggest advantages is how compact it becomes—it fully collapses down, making it incredibly easy to lift into a trunk. Plus, since it’s battery-powered, there’s no need to worry about fuel spilling during transport. A feature I really appreciated is the built-in storage compartment on top of the mower. It holds the second battery while you’re mowing, so you don’t have to go searching for it when the first one dies. Even better, it’s large enough to store the charger and a few extra items afterward, keeping everything in one convenient place. That said, I wasn’t a fan of the handle attachment points. They’re made of plastic and feel somewhat fragile. You’re essentially left with two options: either tighten the side clamps extremely hard—risking damage to the plastic—or leave them slightly loose and deal with the handle slipping down while you’re pushing. In my opinion, this connector should have been made of metal for better durability. The setup process was a bit more difficult than expected, though I believe much of that comes down to the instruction manual. It could definitely be more user-friendly and simplified for easier assembly. On the positive side, the mower’s weight is just right—light enough to maneuver easily, yet solid enough to feel durable. The blades also perform well, handling thicker grass without any issues. One minor drawback for me was the charger. I’m used to chargers that clearly indicate charging status with a red light that turns green when fully charged. This one simply blinks green while charging and then goes solid green when complete, which isn’t as intuitive. Overall, I’d rate this mower a 4 out of 5. It’s a solid, well-performing machine with great portability and thoughtful features. My only real concern is the long-term durability of the handle connection. ... show more

    • Good mower for small lawns
Good points: For a battery-powered mower this has a good amount of power. When contrasting battery-powered mowers versus gas-powered mowers, gas-powered wins easily on power but battery-powered wins easily on starting the mower. This is a relatively lightweight mower (because a lot of the mower is made of what appears to be medium grade plastic). The weight, or lack thereof, certainly helps on mowing on any kind of incline. It is a very handy grip handle on the top of the body of the mower to move it or pick it up. The operator's handle collapses easily to store the mower or put it in a vehicle. It is easy to change the mowing height of the blade. The mulching option is a nice feature. The height of the operator's handle is very comfortable. The power level light is a plus. The grass collection bag goes on and off easily. Two chargers are provided for the two batteries which are both needed to operate the mower. Weak points: It has a small cutting width, a mere 15 inches. It also needs a key to be able to start the mower. An extra key is provided. Of course keys get lost. Also, what is the point of the key? If the whole thing was stolen, the key goes with it. It is unlikely some kid is going to be able to turn the key to the "on" position and then get behind the mower and start it. Preventing that is very easy: remove the batteries. No additional batteries are provided. If it will take more than about 45 minutes to mow the lawn you have, then to finish the job expect to wait a couple of hours for the batteries to recharge. Bad points: Assembly was made much more difficult than necessary by the very poor instructions. Those instructions could use some serious improvement. There are a series of very small illustrations (about two inches by an inch and a half) showing how to assemble all parts. Written instructions, in very small font, are provided but not until about 11 pages later in the operator's manual. Fortunately once the mower is assembled, it never has to be assembled again.
