Features

  • DOT Approved Motorcycle Helmet: The flip-up motorcycle helmet meets or exceeds FMVSS-218 and DOT safety standards. It features a high-strength ABS shell and EPS liner designed to absorb and disperse impact energy during a collision, enhancing rider safety and helmet performance.
  • Modular Flip-Up Design: The Favoto flip-up helmet offers convenience and versatility. The front of the helmet can be lifted, allowing for easy communication, rest, or fresh air intake without removing the entire helmet. Perfect for motorcycle enthusiasts who value functionality and style. (Usage: When flipping up the chin guard, push it upward until it locks into place. Once locked, it will stay securely and will not fall down.)
  • Lightweight and Breathable: This DOT helmet is designed to be lightweight, minimizing strain on your neck and shoulders for more comfortable long rides. The ventilation ports on the top and chin allow airflow to keep you cool while riding and can be closed to reduce wind resistance and road noise.

  • Nice helmet for a beginner that won't break the bank.
This Favoto Modular Motorcycle Helmet has proven to be a very nice helmet. With the front visor able to lift up, it makes it really easy to put on and take off while wearing glasses. This is an absolute must if you wear glasses. The chin strap is easy to use. The helmet fits my head nicely and securely, without the eventual headache from being too tight, or neck-ache from being too loose. For a helmet that's under $100, this is pretty nice and won't break the bank. ... show more

  • Flip-Up Confidence for Every Ride Flip-Up Confidence for Every Ride
Color: black Size: Medium
I got this Favoto modular motorcycle helmet for my wife, and it’s been a solid riding companion. It feels sturdy without being heavy, so her neck doesn’t feel worn out after longer trips. The flip-up front is great for quick chats at stoplights or grabbing fresh air without taking everything off. Inside, it’s soft and comfortable, not scratchy or stiff. Airflow keeps things cool, though at higher speeds it can get a bit noisy. The fit runs slightly snug at first, but it breaks in nicely. Overall, it balances comfort, safety, and everyday convenience well. All in all, it’s a dependable helmet that makes riding easier and more comfortable with just a few minor trade-offs. + Flip-up convenience + Comfortable padding + Solid protection Hope this was helpful ... show more

  • Disappointed with quality and function Disappointed with quality and function
I had issues from the moment I opened the box. It arrived unsealed, as if someone had already opened it. The cover strings were knotted so tight that I had to cut them. After I removed the cover, I saw scuffs and scratches across the helmet. The chin barrier near the bottom was almost falling off, so I had to fix that right away. The main face shield was not inserted correctly and needed an adjustment. While I took a video, I found another piece starting to come loose. The helmet also fits larger than expected. I wear a large, but this one felt too loose and needed to be smaller. The padding feels comfortable and the vents move air well. It also feels light for a modular helmet. The problem is the modular design. It will not lock in place unless you force it up hard; if you do not, it drops right back down. That can cause problems when you need it up fast. Bringing it back down takes two hands because the release sticks. The face shield also sticks, so you have to use more force than you should to lock it down. The modular section, face shield, and built-in sunglasses fight each other every time you move them. If you lift the modular section with the face shield open, something might break. The chin strap uses a quick-release that works fine, but it adjusts too easily and has nothing to secure the extra length of the strap. It may work as a backup helmet. It feels safe enough with the padding and DOT 218 label. Still, I would not recommend it unless you are on a very tight budget and need something low-cost. ... show more

  • Solid modular helmet with great convenience and comfort Solid modular helmet with great convenience and comfort
Color: black Size: Medium
I’ve been using this Favoto modular helmet for a bit now and it’s honestly a pretty nice setup for the price. The flip-up feature works smoothly and makes quick stops, talking, or grabbing a drink way easier without having to take the whole thing off. The dual visor setup is also super handy — the tinted inner visor is perfect for sunny days, and the clear visor gives a clean wide view. The helmet feels light when you’re wearing it, which makes longer rides more comfortable. Ventilation is decent too, especially with the top and chin vents open. The padding inside is soft and comfortable, and I like that everything can be taken out and washed because that keeps the helmet feeling new. Fit is true to size, and the overall build feels solid and secure. It’s DOT approved, so it checks the safety boxes, and the ABS shell doesn’t feel cheap. For commuting, short trips, or casual riding, it’s a great modular option that balances comfort, convenience, and safety really well. ... show more

  • Better than nothing, but should you rely on it?
Color: black Size: Medium
Motorcycle helmets run $30-600+, so this one is on the very low price scale. Safety ratings also start with DOT as a minimum and go up thru ECE 22.06 and Snell, with DOT often considered a joke rating as it's a bare minimum to be legal in many states. Do some research, and google "The Snell Helmet Standard is Meaningless" to learn more about Snell. So once again, this helmet meets the lowest possible rating you can get by with. And just so you know, the DOT certification is "self approved" by the manufacturer, in this case Favoto, and not by an independent laboratory or testing facility. So with that being said... Should you buy this helmet? Are you anticipating falling off your scooter or tricycle at very low speeds and can only afford or justify $70 for your brain? Then I say yes, this helmet is for you! Not only is it DOT certified and "legal" but it is light weight (3 lbs. 11 oz.) and has flip-up face shield/chin guard so you can easily drink your can of Red Bull and get back to whatever dangerous thing you were doing. It has a quick release chin strap buckle - not as secure in a crash as double D rings but we don't care about that, right? The flip down sun shade visor is handy to have, no kidding, and for the price I think it's a real plus. This helmet also flexes laterally quite a bit when the face/chin shield is up because the ABS shell is thin, so keep that chin guard down and locked when you're not posing for photos! Air flow is decent when you are moving along at higher speeds, but I wouldn't trust this helmet then unless you are hanging your head out of a car window (while someone else is driving and you still, somehow, have your seat belt on). In all seriousness, if you know what you're getting (and not getting) for $70 I really do think this helmet is worth the money for taking little falls. But... If you earn more than $8K/yr, or plan to go faster than 20mph/32kph or get hit by a car/truck/bus/tree going at least that fast, or need your brain in order to tie your own shoes and feed yourself, then you might consider spending a little more for something with a higher safety rating and better construction. You will only REALLY need a helmet that one time and believe me you will be happy you spent a little more. I speak from experience. Now to be honest..., I do own a $600+ ARIA helmet for higher speeds, a couple $200+ Bells and another $70 Favoto (non flip-up). When I'm out on the EUC and not going fast (trails) I use the cheap Favoto all the time because I expect to be falling - but not crashing. If I get hit by a car I'm still SOL, but I'd rather F up my cheap Favoto than my ARIA (which is nicer) or the Bells (which are heaver). So yes, I truthfully can and would recommend a cheaper helmet like this one for certain situations. I'm giving it 4/5 stars because I'm saying it's a cheaper helmet for ONLY $70. If compared to a "real" helmet at any price, or for motorcycling, I would rate it a 2 (or possibly 3 for its features and comfort). BTW, my head measures 22.5" and the medium fits me perfect and comfortably. Hope this helps you decide. ... show more

  • Comfortable, Safe, and Great Ventilation
Color: black Size: Medium
My husband tested this helmet and immediately noticed how lightweight and comfortable it felt during long rides. The flip-up design is smooth and convenient, and the dual visor makes transitioning between daylight and evening rides effortless. As a nurse, I’m particular about safety gear, so I appreciate that it feels sturdy and well-constructed. The ventilation kept him cool even during warmer days, and the fit was secure without being tight. He plans to use it for both road and trail rides. I confidently recommend this helmet for everyday riders. ... show more
