    • Nice mower for my 4 open lots of lawn!
I just got this & it's awesome so far! You need a power drill with phillips bit & a 3/8 socket bit to take the crate apart. It's well packaged. Our local delivery guy put it right into our yard & not in the street...to do this he had to nearly jackknife the truck. Small town businesses are great! Assembly included putting on the steering wheel, easy to do but you need a 1/2" socket wrench, attaching the seat, very easy as well, & connecting the battery, also easy to do. I recommend this mower. I'm glad I got it! ... show more

I have had 5 riding lawnmowers since 1997 and this one is the worst. I have used it 2 times. When the mower is engaged the engine shuts off within a couple of minutes. Using it 20 minutes to cut my grass the mower shut off 12 times during operation. The spark plugs misfire frequently. The cruise control level/function does not work properly. I absolutely hate this product and angry that Amazon won't let me return. I have tried reaching out to Craftsman but I am being ignored. I WANT THESE ISSUES CORRECTED SINCE I CAN'T RETURN IT! ... show more

Tractor came crated and in excellent condition, installed seat and steering wheel. Put gas in it and cranked right up, easy to use.

    • Decent enough
First time buying a lawnmower new and first time buying a riding mower. Same one they had at lowes for 100 dollars less and it was delivered to my door. Packaging was a flimsy crate that did it's job, it didn't arrive with any dents or scratches that I noticed. Assembly was easy put the seat and steering wheel on, connect the supplied battery under the seat, and add fuel (check the oil level, the dipstick is also the fill cap mine came perfectly topped off) it fired right up without choking and battery was charged. It was honestly so much easier than I thought it would be. Now for anecdotal examples, I'm 6'1" and 210 this machine is too small for me but my wife (who I bought this for is absolutely perfect she is 5'5") she is able to push the pedal all the way down just barely with the seat in the furthest back position. It has 7 speeds you can't select between them unless you push the brake/clutch in, it doesn't allow you to engage the blades while in reverse. It cuts 3 weeks of growth on setting 3 without much drama. I'll probably get it a different blade and order the bigger deck for it. Other than that it should run fine for a long time. It's not overbuilt but it's also not top of the line price either. 2000 for a simple ride on mower is pretty steep. Overall I'd say this is good for it intended purpose but prob won't do much else. ... show more

My husband loves this mower! He especially likes that the cut of the blades is in line with the tires; he said it makes it easier to follow/judge his next cutting line. The price was comparable, or even better in some cases, to anything we could find locally. While the new has not yet worn off, it works very well & starts with ease! ... show more
