Yeap we ordered a ride on mower from Amazon. Wasn't sure how this was going to work and yes it was free delivery to our back yard! It was awesome. They even worked with us to deliver when we could receive it. Now there is a small amount of assembly as the seat is not attached and the tractor needed to be cut out of the crate, but both were handled pretty easily. Oh yeah and the tractor works like a dream. We wanted to buy local but delivery charges were more than expected and picking up ourselves would have been a challenge. Thank you for making this easy. ... show more

First time buying a lawnmower new and first time buying a riding mower. Same one they had at lowes for 100 dollars less and it was delivered to my door. Packaging was a flimsy crate that did it's job, it didn't arrive with any dents or scratches that I noticed. Assembly was easy put the seat and steering wheel on, connect the supplied battery under the seat, and add fuel (check the oil level, the dipstick is also the fill cap mine came perfectly topped off) it fired right up without choking and battery was charged. It was honestly so much easier than I thought it would be. Now for anecdotal examples, I'm 6'1" and 210 this machine is too small for me but my wife (who I bought this for is absolutely perfect she is 5'5") she is able to push the pedal all the way down just barely with the seat in the furthest back position. It has 7 speeds you can't select between them unless you push the brake/clutch in, it doesn't allow you to engage the blades while in reverse. It cuts 3 weeks of growth on setting 3 without much drama. I'll probably get it a different blade and order the bigger deck for it. Other than that it should run fine for a long time. It's not overbuilt but it's also not top of the line price either. 2000 for a simple ride on mower is pretty steep. Overall I'd say this is good for it intended purpose but prob won't do much else. ... show more

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Ready to go as soon as you remove from the wooden shipping crate. Oil already added, just add gas and go. Cuts great.

I just got this & it's awesome so far! You need a power drill with phillips bit & a 3/8 socket bit to take the crate apart. It's well packaged. Our local delivery guy put it right into our yard & not in the street...to do this he had to nearly jackknife the truck. Small town businesses are great! Assembly included putting on the steering wheel, easy to do but you need a 1/2" socket wrench, attaching the seat, very easy as well, & connecting the battery, also easy to do. I recommend this mower. I'm glad I got it! ... show more
