  • Affordable and good quality 👌
Great value mower that punches above its price! I was a little skeptical buying a budget-friendly mower, but this thing has genuinely impressed me. Assembly was quick and straightforward — I had it ready to go in under 20 minutes without any frustration. What really stands out is how lightweight it is. Maneuvering around flower beds and tight corners is effortless, and I don't dread mowing day like I used to with my old clunky machine. Don't let the price fool you — the motor has real power behind it. It chews through thicker patches of grass without bogging down, and the cut quality is clean and even across the whole lawn. Neighbors have actually commented on how good the yard looks. For the price, I honestly can't find much to complain about. If you're looking for a reliable, easy-to-use mower that won't break the bank, this is it. Highly recommend. ... show more

  • This mower makes our yard work so much easier!
Our old push mower finally quit working in the fall, so we really needed to find a new one this spring before summer hit. We’ve been extremely happy with this 21 inch PowerSmart push mower so far. It was super quick and easy to put together because it took less than 10 minutes total to set up and we were ready to start mowing! It starts up easily usually on the 1st pull and has been running great for the past month with no issues. My husband especially loves using it around all our trees and along the ditch banks in our front yard to cut back on having to use our weedwacker for all of those areas like we used to. It’s lightweight and easy to maneuver, so it handles those tighter spots and uneven areas much better than a big, bulky mower would. It’s not heavy or awkward, which makes a big difference on a hot day when you're already struggling to get all the yard work done. The height adjustment is simple to change, and I like having the option to bag or mulch depending on what we need. Plus if you want to remove the bagger altogether it's a breeze to just quickly unhook it and leave it off completely which we do for the steeper ditch area. It’s also been very low maintenance so far, which is always a huge plus. You can tell by the solid construction of this mower that it's well built and has a durable metal body. You also don't ever have to worry about the tires going flat since those are low maintenence solid hard plastic tires that don't require any air. For the price, this mower is a great value. The 144cc engine has plenty of power to get the job done without being too much. Overall, it’s just a solid, easy to use mower that gets the job done without any hassle and I'm happy we ended up going with this model of mower. ... show more

  • Good mower.
Assembly was simple and only took a few minutes. Starts first pull, and engine has plenty of power, even when mulching tall grass. (I don’t use the bagger or side discharge). I really like the height adjustment that does all 4 wheels at once. Great time saver from the mower it replaced. The engine is a little louder than my 140cc Troy Bilt mower, but can live with that. Overall, a good mower, especially for the price ... show more

  • Lightweight, reliable starter, with one minor "fit and finish" catch
I have used this mower a few times now and overall, it’s a solid performer for the price point. Here is the breakdown of my experience: The Pros: Easy Assembly: It was very straightforward to put together right out of the box. I didn't have to spend all afternoon wrestling with tools. Startup: This is probably the best part—it starts up very easily every time, which isn't always a guarantee with gas mowers. Manueverability: It is extremely lightweight. If you have a yard with lots of turns or obstacles, this is a breeze to push around. The Cons: Fuel Capacity: The fuel tank is on the smaller side. If you have a larger yard, be prepared to stop for a refill mid-job. Quality Control: My only real disappointment was that the foam grip on the handle arrived with some damage (a small tear/gouge). Since the shipping box was completely intact, this seems like a minor oversight at the factory during packaging. I do fear it tearing worse as it is used more and more. Final Verdict: It’s a great, nimble mower for small to medium yards. It’s reliable and easy to handle. Just keep an eye on your fuel levels and check the handle padding when you unbox it. ... show more

  • Smooth Cutting, Momma Approved LawnMower 😉
The PowerSmart Gas Mower has been a great addition to our home. My 13-year-old son was able to incorporate the assembly process into a homeschool and father/son project, which made it even more meaningful. All the pieces were included, and the setup process was straightforward. Once up and running, the gas-powered mower cuts evenly and runs smoothly. The performance has been reliable, and it handles our yard without any issues. It’s not overly heavy or bulky in size, making it easy to maneuver, and the noise level is about what you would expect from a gas mower. ⭐️ It’s also easy enough for my 9-year-old daughter to help use with supervision, which speaks to how user-friendly the design is. Overall, this mower offers solid performance, good durability so far, and great value. It not only gets the job done but also created a great learning experience for our family. I would definitely recommend it. ... show more

  • First blush, out of the box.
First things first, the order was processed, shipped and delivered as advertised. The box showed no signs of damage whatsoever. Unboxing was simple enough and assembly (If you want to call it that) was simple and straight forward. There was a container with the required amount of oil, and a funnel in the box. Also the side discharge chute and rear bag and even a spark plug wrench. After putting the oil in, adding gas, I pressed the primer bulb the required number of times...after a few pulls, I repeated the primer routine and the motor came to life. There was a brief puff of smoke, but it dicipated quickly. I didn't panic, but attributed to being new and probably some residual from manufacturing. I only ran the mower for a few minutes, cutting only a small patch. It was the hottest part of the day, but the motor seemed strong... The following morning I gave the machine it's first workout. I mowed an area that I hadn't been able to mow for a couple of weeks. The area was fairly high and thick. The mower demonstrated plenty of power and had no trouble cutting through even though the grass was kind of wet. First impressions are favorable. The mower seems to have plenty of power. The entire machine is just about the perfect weight, not too light so it doesn't bounce, not too heavy making it easy enough to push. I live a bit north of Houston, and we are having high temps near 100° so after break in I will most likely switch from the 10W 30 oil that it came with, and go with SAE 30W The machine seems to be a good value. Not a bunch of bells and whistles, no blade brake, no self propelled, no electric start, just a basic piece of equipment. Edit: I am giving an update because after some use I have noticed a couple of issues. First thing is very shortly after I began using the machine, the rubber deflector mounted at the rear of the mower became detached. It was held in place by molded tabs pushed through holes not by any type of hardware. I could petition the manufacturer for a new part, but that part would have the same design and weakness. I will repair it using mechanical fasteners so no great shakes. Secondly, I have noticed that when I mowing to move something or just to grab a drink, restarting the machine can be difficult. Whereas in a cold start usually the machine will start on the first pull. I have a little over half an acre inside the fence and another 15' across the front, so the machine and I get a workout. Still, the machine has plenty of power. It cuts through the thickest grass with little effort. SECOND EDIT: I have had this machine for a year now. Other than the repair I mentioned earlier and replacing the oil and a new blade, I haven't had any issues. The mower is still strong and still cuts the grass well. ... show more
