This leaf blower came in what most would consider a small box compared to a gas leaf blower. The good thing is it's easy to assemble. The leaf blower is good for older folks and those that have a problem holding a heavier gas blower. The power of the blower seems to be fine for a typical yard job. It didn't overheat and the trigger switch made it easy to start and stop it. This unit came with a battery and charger. The charger seems to be a lower quality but as long as it charges that is what matters. The battery came and was about 66% charged. I charged it overnight and it showed a full charge and ran okay. It's definitely not an extended life battery but good enough to complete a regular size yard job. I would buy again. If you have the battery Craftsman weedeater, buying the extended battery would be a good investment because you can use the extended life battery in both the weedeater and the blower. ... show more

The air flow is marginal, no where near that of a gas powered unit, it is light and quite. The 2 amp hour battery is a joke barely 10 minutes of run time. I purchased one of these 2 years ago in December 2023. As a general light duty blower, it works pretty well. If you have larger areas or a lot of leaves, then you may want to find something better. For blowing out the garage dirt and dust, or pathways and even small driveways, it does well. Once you get into a larger pile of leaves, it struggles to clear them all out, and do not let them be wet when attempting. UPDATE- This blower started giving me problems within a few weeks. I reached out to Crafstman support and they assured me that my "request (13128555) has been received and is being reviewed by our support staff". I never heard another word. Meanwhile my blower went from powering off and on to simply not working at all. Even if you weren't going to honor the warranty, at least just tell me that so I can move on and get something that works. When it worked it was fine. But that was hit or miss at best. Avoid this blower. I've not had good luck with my 20v Craftsman tools on the whole. If you are using the battery that comes with it, then it does not last very long, nor is it very powerful. But for a lightweight, cheap, battery powered blower it's ok with things like blowing dust or dried grass clippings from the garage or sidewalk. It certainly could never be used like a leaf blower, but it suits my purposes. ... show more
