I purchased this blower after my previous one gave up the ghost after 3 years of reliable service. The new one only ran twice then could not be started again not even with starting fluid. Amazon wont take the return return so I was stuck. Having such good luck with the original one, I thought i probably just got a lemon. So i decide to purchase another from Lowes "same one" guess what? Same issue ran twice now will not start. Just to be clear, I used the supplied 2 cycle oil and the proper mix. Now i have 3 blowers that will not run 2 brand new for almost $700.00 I've been around a good many years and have used two cycle engines of every kind from chain saws to dirt bikes and folks this is JUNK Save your money Husqvarna was once a trusted brand now like most companies, they take your hard earned money and send you brand new trash.     • Take off the extension for better blowing

I'll admit I wasn't the most impressed with this blower at first. While it certainly moved the leaves better than the handheld electric blower that I was replacing, it wasn't quite blowing the way I had thought it would. Fast forward to me blowing the leaves in my backyard and the extension accidentally falls off because it had worked its way loose. I guess I hadn't twisted it well enough. I was going to put it right back on but tested out the blower without it on. Well that certainly made a difference! Complete game changer. If you really want the leaves to move, do yourself a favor and leave off the tapered extension part of the blower. You'll be thankful that you did. It was way more powerful and cut the blowing time way down as well. I have a city lot with 7 large/mature oak trees, and they drop a ton of leaves. The blower is kind of heavy for me as a woman, but I didn't expect it to be light. I've had shoulder surgery, and though it was a little sore after using it, it wasn't too bad. I'd definitely recommend using the straps that go across your chest and stomach to help distribute the weight. Overall a great blower since I figured out how to make it better for me. When I first received my blower and added the correct fuel, I had a difficult time getting it to start. I attempted to start it several times over the course of two or three days, but unfortunately, I could not get it running. At that point, I decided to take it to a small engine repair shop because I did not want to go through the hassle of returning it. I initially believed the problem was something I had done incorrectly as a user. The repair technician inspected the blower and explained that I had flooded the engine. He replaced the spark plug and worked with it for approximately 20 attempts before he was finally able to get it started. Once it was running properly, I was able to see what this blower could actually do. With all of that being said, I genuinely love this product. Amazon has a lot of products that can sometimes appear to be knockoffs or look cheaper than the pictures, but this blower is definitely the real deal. It looks exactly like the pictures and feels like a quality piece of equipment. The blower is very loud, so be prepared for that, but the power makes up for it. It blows extremely strong and moves leaves, grass, and other debris quickly and efficiently. It is also surprisingly lightweight, which makes it much easier to use for extended periods without feeling like you’re carrying around a heavy piece of equipment. The repair technician also told me that this is one of the better lawn tools on the market and that I made a great purchase. After using it myself, I have to agree. Although I had some trouble getting it started initially, once the issue was resolved, the blower performed extremely well. Overall, I am very happy with my purchase and would definitely recommend it to someone looking for a powerful, lightweight blower for a good price. ... show more

I had a Husqvarna handheld blower and have been happy with it for years but I needed something bigger. I did a LOT of researching and product comparisons and landed on this 150BT model. I've only had it for a week now but I must say, I am quite impressed! It's really powerful and moves loads of leaves, even wet ones, easily. And for its power, it's not crazy noisy. Ear protection is still needed of course however it's less loud than some others I have experienced. The shoulder pads and back pad are comfortable. I also like the waist-level belt you can use to better support and center the unit on your body while you are using it. The throttle is ergonomic and easy to use/hold. The assembly instructions leave something to be desired, however. Mostly it's just the set of tubes you have to attach out of the box, but the paper instructions are not really clear so after a wee bit of trial and error, I figured out how the all go together. The rest of the Quick Start instructions for how to fire it up are fine though. It does require a gas-oil mixture so you need to find a way to mix those, or just use some premixed 50:1 stuff in the can.
