I only write reviews when a product is especially good or bad. This EGO POWER+ Leaf Blower is Great! I particularly like the range of air power it can produce. I can easily tailor the volume of air suited to the task: low to very high and stop, all with one finger. It is loud at high volume, but not as loud as my gasoline powered blower. I find having it instantly on and off so handy that I use it far more often than I ever used my gas blower. I really like the run time with the 5.0Ah battery—I have never exhausted it in a single use. But, I can’t testify that the advertized 90 minute runtime is accurate. Had the 765 model for almost 6 months. I've pushed small items to great success and with fall leaves I've gathered them with minimal effort. Most of the time I only need to use the lowest blower setting. Probably only needed the maximum speed a couple of times. As a result of low setting the battery life has been impressive. In nearly 6 months I've only recharged twice. Mind you, this is not daily use but more like once a week for maybe 10 minutes of actual use. I've used the special nozzle a couple of times but don't see where it is more effective than the normal circle nozzle. The battery is big and it accounts for much of the weight which can take some getting used to. What I like best is that I can just grab it and do whatever chore I want. No need to tote an electrical cord, worry if the cord will be long enough and avoid the cord getting caught up in plants and bushes or worse something I trip over. I've very happy with my new blower. Did I need to get the most powerful blower? Frankly, no. A smaller one would be as effective but I have no regrets. It does the jobs I need done, effective and efficient and the extra power comes in handy for wet leaves. ... show more

I have several EGO power tools including a lawn mower, this blower, a hedge trimmer, and edger/weed wacker. This blower is amazing! Very strong blowing capacity, easy to assemble/disassemble and handle, and lightweight and balanced with the included shoulder strap. The battery also lasts very long!

This is a powerful blower. Easy to use. Could be a bit heavy due to its excellent and powerful battery. Recharge is as stated. Not too long. Works about as good as our gas powered blower. We bought a second EGO for a family member. Would recommend it.

Our old blower from a different brand suddenly died, so I decided to try this one. This blower works well. It is powerful on the highest setting. I like that you can adjust your air flow depending on what needs to be done and where. Our old blower had one flow setting only. The battery charger is somewhat loud but fast. I am taking away one star for two things that I dislike. First, the blower is heavy and not comfortable to use without a strap. All of its wight is in the back, so my forearm hurts after a while trying to hold and balance it. Second, I accidentally start it every time I pick it up because of where the trigger is located and how it works. ... show more

This is my third EGO yard tool. I adore the interchangeable batteries. Blowing consumes amps more rapidly than EGO weed trimmer, or EGO hedge trimmer. Durning Fall, I swap batteries from my other EGO tools. For two-years, I have blown leaves off the 200-steps East Blaine Street Staircase with my EGO. This EGO will blow off wet, and walked on leaves from concrete. Equals the work of my 'Stihl', Back-Pack blower, with less noise, no fumes, no mixing gasoline w/oil, and less carbon. ... show more

Why did you pick this product vs others?: I got this blower because I needed something with power. I have leaves, sticks and pine needles embedded in a rock yard and my current blower did not have enough power to lift / dislodge them. I was going to get the 880, but after watching a few videos and comparing stats, I felt this one would have enough power. It does and I'm very happy with it. I got all the power I was looking for in this model. It comes with a 2.5 and a 5.7amp hr. battery. The 2.5 they should probably stop making, the low run time is misplaced hope. The larger battery does a great job. Only con is I'm left-handed and the strap connection is for right handers only. The blower is well built and does have some kick when running. I was looking at gas; I didn't know the new blowers were as strong since the last time I bought one 15rys ago. I'm glad I tried this first as they have improved greatly. Also, it is much quieter than my old blower. If anyone at EGO reads this - LEFT HANDED matters too. ... show more
