  • AMAZING LEAF BLOWER.
Style: 765 CFM w/5.0Ah Battery
AMAZING leaf blower. Very powerful & efficient. It's heavy. Thank goodness it comes with a harness strap. With the strap it's easy to operate. Great selection of attachments. Different speeds are very helpful. The smaller battery is very useful in not adding to the weight of the blower. I would highly recommend. ... show more

Will blow your socks off your feet! This is a great blower! Battery time is sufficient enough to complete a large yard and the turbo is extremely powerful! Very pleased with the performance of this cordless blower

  • So much power!
Style: 765 CFM w/5.0Ah Battery
Great product, Ego for the win! Ego makes the best battery powered outdoor power equipment on the market (IMO). I have several Ego products and they all work amazingly well. This leaf blower is incredibly powerful and you can feel it kick back when you turn it on, and then you use the turbo mode...forget about it. You could probably fly away if you strapped a hang glider onto yourself while using it in turbo. Anyhow, it's an amazing product! ... show more

  • Money well spent
Style: 765 CFM w/5.0Ah Battery
I have 3 ego products. Weed eater, chain saw and this leaf blower. All high quality and very good at there tasks. This blower makes quick work of cleaning my driveway, sidewalk and artificial turf too. We are in a stage 2 fire alert no gas powered lawn equipment allowed but cordless battery power is fine and quiet with no gasoline hassle. Yes I still love a V8 exhausting trough dual glass packs but the future is here. Spend the $ and enjoy your yard work. ... show more

  • Great product with a critical flaw
Style: 765 CFM w/5.0Ah Battery
Direct comparison between Husqvarna 350iB and EGO LB7654 Both of these blowers are the most powerful ones that I could find in a hand-held battery blower, and both are rated as top performers, however after a head-to-head comparison over a couple of weeks, here are my findings and conclusion. Husky 350iB vs. EGO Power+ LB7654 Weight LBS 10.2 vs 9.5 CFM 800 vs 765 MPH 200 vs 195 Battery 40V Lithium-Ion 7.5 Ah vs 56V Lithium-Ion 5.0 Ah Battery life 15 min turbo vs 15 min turbo Battery Charge time 35 vs min 45 min Noise Level 65 dB vs 64 dB Motor Brushless vs Brushless Features No Shoulder strap vs Shoulder Strap Actual air power (push a soccer ball) equal equal Measured Run time on turbo setting 15 min vs 15 min 10 Sec Battery Charge time 30 min. vs 45 minutes Measured dB at turbo 112 dB vs 103 dB Comments on Husky: Battery charger is quiet and compact. On Turbo it is loud with high pitch only seems to be a slight advantage in blowing power over the EGO Turbo can be locked on - big advantage Comments on EGO: Holding the Turbo button is very tiring and does not allow you to change grip without losing turbo. Turbo sound is not annoying. Battery has some looseness when seated in the blower. Charger is a little large and noisy. EGO - I had a slight preference for the EGO because it is a little lighter (¾ of a pound actually makes a difference over time), and it has a softer, more pleasant sound on the highest setting. I also liked that it has a shoulder strap option, and has the speed dial to accurately select any speed for constant use. Husky - I preferred the Husky design of a power on button, which allows you to pick it up without accidentally blowing things off of the kitchen table (yes true story). I liked that the charger and battery were both more compact, and more quiet during recharging, and that it charges about 15 minutes faster than the EGO. Although the two were very comparable, in the end there was one feature that steered me away from the EGO to the Husky. The EGO blower’s lack of a way to lock the turbo button in the on position without having to hold it with my thumb, was a deal killer. Let’s face it, when I need a blower, I need all the power I can get, all the time. Having to hold the turbo button constantly was very fatiguing. All EGO had to do was add one additional click to the speed dial for turbo. Decision: Husky 350iB ... show more

  • Powerful and versatile but heavy with battery attached
Style: 765 CFM w/5.0Ah Battery
This is an excellent blower that is very powerful. Most of the time the lower settings are sufficient. The only downside is the blower with the battery attached is heavy. There is a strap to compensate for the weight, but it attaches awkwardly to the blower and is not very comfortable. The battery charges relatively fast and lasts awhile. Overall, the blower is versatile and useful for a variety of purposes. ... show more

  • Incompatible with old batteries!!! 2.5ah won’t work
Style: 765 CFM w/5.0Ah Battery
I checked with customer service and they are aware the old batteries don’t work with it. They just chose not to tell shoppers. So 1 star. After using it a bit, I’m updating my review. The original is at the bottom. So I tried using this blower with a 2.5ah battery that I had from older Ego tools and it doesn’t work. This blower only works with the 5ah it comes with!!!! Dropping it down to 3 stars for that and one other problem. The balance and length are off. I’m 6’1 and the thing is too long to use for very long with the weight and balance. It causes the tip to touch the ground so you have to bend your arm to lift it up. This causes fatigue if you use it for a long time. Performance wise it’s very good and quieter than other blowers so it still gets 3 stars but I think they provide a strap for a reason! I’m going to try it out but stupid design to make it like they did. A trick I use is to remove the tip which makes it shorter. Then you can use it without causing fatigue. Without the tip it loses some of the power or focus but better than a sore arm. If the strap ends up helping I’ll update my review but overall for this being the best leaf blower on the market I’m disappointed. I have a discontinued craftsman v60 that was a better purchase but the battery died and they no longer sell it. So in summary: good power and works well with 5ah battery but doesn’t work with 2.5ah batteries. You have to remove the tip for it to be balanced and comfortable to use. Also without the battery attached it isn’t stable sitting on the ground. But having used it this fall on wet leaves and rough surfaces it works well. If I had to go back I’d try the top of the line ryobi since the smaller batteries from other Ego tools don’t work anyways (I have two 2.5ah batteries that still work fine with other tools). It’s nice having a 5ah battery to use with the string trimmer but I would try the ryobi and compare. It’s too late to return this ego now so I’m stuck with it. Oh well… amazons return policy is weak. Everywhere else is 90 days… lesson learned! Original review: I have a few leaf blowers. From an old gas two stroke model, a first gen Ego, discontinued 60v craftsman, and this brand new one, it’s the best. The original Ego blower I had didn’t have a variable trigger. Which made it terrible. The craftsman 60v was really good and what I used for years but they discontinued the entire line. Sooo what to do when it died? Well Amazon had this one on sale! No brainer as long as they fixed the trigger and it’s as strong as the craftsman. It is and the 5ah battery this kit comes with lasts a lot longer than the old 2.5ah one I had. Only downsides are the battery is big. Don’t be fooled by the photos. It IS a 5ah battery. Double the normal size. With no battery on the blower it’s front heavy and droops. With the battery it’s fairly balanced. But still scrapes the ground with tip attachments on. I do have long arms but I suspect this will be the most annoying thing about it. I plan to take the attachments off next time I use it to see how it works without it. Anyways it puts out a lot of air. It can move any debris including solid chunks of stuff from gaps between concrete if it’s loose enough. I tested it on some areas that don’t normally blow clean and this one worked! Even the gas blower didn’t get all the debris out from the tree roots and other craggy areas. I had fairly high expectations because my old ones were pretty good but this model is actually worth it. It lives up to its specs, hype etc. if you can get it on sale, don’t hesitate! And keep in mind this comes with a double size battery and fast charger. So it’s a no brainer especially when just a battery costs a couple hundred by itself ... show more

  • ERGONOMICS! Need a longer blower tube for Big and Tall men.
Style: 765 CFM w/5.0Ah Battery
This is the first leaf blower I have ever owned. As I age, it gets more difficult to keep up with the yard and garden, so I finally gave in and bought a leaf blower. We had soaking rains for three days in a row before the blower arrived. I went out anyway, and used an already charged 2 Ah battery to blow soaking wet leaves away from the walkway and my wife's car. It performed admirably, pushing heavy matted leaves that I certainly didn't feel like raking. The following day, I went out with the 5 Ah battery, and blew leaves from ditches and depressions in the ground, so that all that rain could drain off the property faster. Again, the blower performed quite well, pushing all that weight, if I only stood properly, and lined up the air flow so that it could gain purchase on the wet leaves. It was at this point that I decided that EGO didn't put enough research into ergonomics. Much of the time, I have to bend over to make the blower do as I need. Men over about 5' 10" really need an additional extension tube, 12 to 18 inches long. My wife, at 5' 4" can get that nozzle right where she wants it to lift and blow away sodden leaves. I've got to bend over to get the same effect. Round 3 on day 3, I went uphill from my house, and blew mostly dry leaves around a giant oak tree. Performance was simply AWESOME! I established a perimeter, and started blowing inward toward my trailer parked near the center. Leaves just leaped toward the center, creating a windrow of leaves about 7 feet away from the nozzle. Using a rake and a giant leaf bag, I collected about fifty pounds of leaves, and dumped them in the trailer, rinse and repeat, working inward all the time. I almost drained that 5 Ah battery in filling the trailer with leaves. Of course, I have the 2 Ah plus a 4 Ah for my weed eater, so I can work most of a day if I'm feeling good. I am going to search for an extension, or maybe find a 3D printing guy to make one for me. I really don't like bending over - though to be honest, blowing dry leaves doesn't require much bending over. The weight is well thought out - no matter which battery I'm using, the tool is well balanced, and easy to manage, even for an aging old guy. I have to give this leaf LB7650 five stars. But, I still want an extension tube for it! ... show more
