A friend of mine has one and recommended it to me. I have a back-pack gas unit, but no longer want to use it and the electrics I have owned left a lot to be desired in so far as battery life. It's powerful, but don't ask it to do what a gas unit can do. It will move thick, wet clumps of leaves, but it wouldn't be my choice if there was a lot of them. Like most electrics, it works best on smooth surfaces, but I did tackle the rock drive and it was fine. Don't get me wrong; this IS a powerful blower and I have no problem recommending it as all around blower and if I only had one, this would be it. The battery is the heart of this blower, but with that power comes weight. I will be getting a nice shoulder strap for it. Someone commented that it was not balanced well. I disagree. When you hold it to do work, it is tilted at exactly the angle I want to use for blowing leaves. Drying a car? I have no idea. I like the trigger for sure, but the feature I liked the most was the dial that set continuous power to whatever is needed. You can add power by pulling the trigger. I can run it for twenty minutes at maybe 30% (using the trigger sometimes) and only use about 20% of the charge. The battery is wicked big and has a charger to match; with a cooling fan no less. Charge level is indicated on the battery in 20% increments. I like it and would buy it again, but like I said, it's heavy. Hope this helps! ... show more

The blower performance is great, just as good if not better than my previous gas blower. It is pretty light and with the strap, it is easy to carry and handle. This was a great value as a limited time offer from Amazon! The extra battery, shoulder strap and nozzles was a real plus! This sure beats buying gas and that goes along with using my old gasoline powered blower. There’s more than enough power to move leaves and small debris. This product is great. Really moves the yard debris and is unusually quiet. Easy to use. Weight isn’t an issue particularly with the shoulder strap. Great performance and battery is more than adequate for my application.

I have always had a plug in electric leaf blower but hauling around the 100 foot extension cord was a pain. This is my first dive into a cordless blower. It is powerful, HOWEVER, on full power, not turbo, it only lasts about 20 minutes tops. I have a very small yard but a bunch of leaves and I can only get half of the yard done on one battery. Not what it seems to claim at all, unless you are running at super slow speed. Also I have only used it twice and I have experienced the switch not working when pushed. I tried a few times and just a clicking sound. Eventually it worked. I hope this is not a common occurrence. ... show more

This guy is heavy, especially with that giant battery, but the shoulder strap makes it easy to handle. It is SERIOUSLY powerful, too. I had to reduce the setting as it was making my 1" rocks blow away. It is easy to use, the additional attachments add to its versatility, and I love that it is cordless. I previously bought some ryobi battery yard tools that were just ok. Build quality and battery life were not the best but it was a tiny yard in So FL so didn’t need much. Now with over 1/4 acre and lots of trees out back, I decided to try this ego based on many reviews. I’ve been really happy with it. The default power level is generally enough to clear leaves from the lawn with a few power bursts as they eventually build up. Battery life was better than I expected for nearly constant blowing stopping only to switch hands. When the battery gave out, I was mostly done and ready for a break. A few days later I cleared off the new fallen leaves and some residual leaves plus I cleared the front lawn and driveway with the one charge with a bit of power left over for short session the next day. On my third full charge now and it does well for a minor cleanup every few days. I’m really happy I decided on this 650 model. Build quality, the plastic parts, the fit and finish all seem to be high quality. Come spring, I’ll probably get one of their mowers. Batteries are pretty expensive but avoiding the gas and oil for this size lawn makes sense for me. ... show more

This really blows a lot of leaves. Really sped up the entire fall cleanup process. B only issue is that the battery last 44 minted to an hour and then needs recharge. The battery charges in about an hour and a half. B so either buy a second battery or plan on a lot of beer breaks
