I love the rich, bright colors & customizability the app provides! It even lets me choose my very own three color patterns! Now I have them on Fireworks for New Year's Day for my front yard...it looks so amazing! Just be aware that, even though they automatically synch with every other strand in the group you set, and that makes all match perfect together, you cannot connect them to each other, end to end/daisy chain, so if you have outlet scarcity, get a longer string for your needs. You will also need to keep the control button & the plug from getting wet, so have them under eaves or, what I did is I bought a waterproof 6-outlet station with a 25ft cord ($40), and used a bird feeder 10in clear hood and placed it right over the top of my string plugs. (The green extension cord plug is fine because the surge protector is silicone-sealed & totally waterproof.) I quickly ziptied a sandwich bag over the control switches to protect those until my mini cord-protector-boxes arrive in a few days. We're expecting about 3in of snow, and these lights are too fantastic to take any chances! My neighbors loved them, too! Happy lighting! ... show more

Finally! The perfect soft blue lights — NOT blinding LEDs I’ve been searching everywhere for blue incandescent-style lights to match the ones I’ve had for years. Every box I tried that claimed to be “incandescent-looking” turned out to be harsh LED lights instead. LEDs are way too bright. I’m trying to decorate a Christmas tree, not land airplanes. After returning multiple sets from different stores, these lights saved me from going nuts. They were super easy to install, and I love the control options — you can connect them via Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, or simply use the remote. I chose to just use the remote, and it works perfectly. I can dim them to the exact level I want and choose the perfect soft blue — the closest match I’ve found to real incandescent lighting. And I love switching between just the blue for ambiance, or turning on all the lights for full holiday sparkle. Cozy, beautiful, and easy on the eyes. Absolutely love them! ... show more

They aren't very bright but that works for what I used them for. They are fun to use, lots of different options. There are certain features that seem to be inaccessible in the app. I keep getting an error that runs me in circles but regardless. They decent for the price.

I put these on my gutters for Memorial Day through through the month of July. The cookies show up perfectly and I love that you can have them on different settings. Another plus is the end of the string is capable so it makes it outdoor friendly, keeps the water out. Wire seems a little flemsy so I'm a little concerned about that. I created a video to show and answer a few questions that I had before purchasing these warm white lights. 1. Each box comes with its own UL adapter. These lights cannot plug into and connect with other standard strands of lights, but are perfectly capable to connect with multiples of the same item. It is very easy to use as shown, and there are caps to cover, protect, and keep the connection points together. Also, you have the option to disconnect the ‘lead’ part of your plug in off. This line is the extension part of the light strand that does not have lights on it. The value in removing it is to have more continuous lights in a row )if you plug in another set) instead of having to tuck the lead part into the tree or try to hide it. 2. None of my 5 boxes came with a remote control, but I am not bothered by that in the least. The button on the adapter is perfect for me. The one button that is provided on the adapter has multiple functions. It allows you to change to 8 different lighting modes. (Combination, inwaves, sequential, slo-glo, chasing/flash, slow fade, twinkle flash, and steady on). The button also allows you to set a timer if you hold it for 3 seconds. Your lights will remain on for 6 hours, and be off for 18. And the microchip in the adapter will automatically repeat the process for as long as you have it plugged in. This is a set it and forget it style. Nice! 3. The light strand is very thin, and I cannot speak to durability since I just purchased them, but visually, the lights are aesthetically pleasing and I know that a lot of us are into that look and feeling. 4. I saw other reviews sharing that the warm tone looks very yellow. That is not at all how it appears with any of the 5 boxes that I received. They appear very close to what is in the video attached. I am using them outside on a tree to help the festive feels and I look forward to the warmth and joy it brings. The lights work and have several nice pre-determined settings. You can press the same setting button on the remote to get a couple options of how those different preset colors run as well. They can be at different brightness levels, and it remembers your last lighting setting and colors used when they turn on again. After that, the further advertised features are very mid. The "breathing" light feature, which I value a lot, is more like flickering, which you see a lot in cheaper lights- it doesn't slowly dim, it instead flickers through various discreet dim settings, and the difference is very noticeable. The app is obnoxious at best. It's finicky and full of bugs, but you can get it to roughly do what you want most of the time. If I want it to run a red light down a line, I can get it to happen, but likely not without some fighting. The control over individual lights is more a control over sections of lights which will repeat the pattern you give it over each section, as if they were all smaller individual strings of lights just next to one another song the same thing. These sections I would estimate are about 6ft (2m) long. This makes it easier to program, but feels slightly different than was advertised. There is one individual light, I believe it's the third light in, that just will not turn on. It doesn't seem to be broken, as it will turn on to the standard blue that flickers when changing custom light colors, but seems to be a programming error. It's not very noticeable in such a large string, but it does speak to a lack of care with the production. I would personally return the product, but to to extenuating circumstances, I was not able to get to the post office within my return window. Overall, if you want a large string of party lights that can be more or less the colors of your choice, this is a good string. If you want something better controlled, less frustrating to work with, or with an actual breathing mode, this is not the light string for you. ... show more
