I really enjoy using this blower. Lightweight and does a good job of blowing leaves, pine needles off hard surfaces. It is not quite as effective blowing items on grass. Leaves, yes, but not pine needles. I use my gas powered backpack blower for that job. Easy to use and I like the fact there is no cranking, just press the trigger and go. I use 5 amp Dewalt batteries with the blower. I have quite bit of area to blow and it usually takes me 2 batteries to finish. Not a problem as I have an ample supply of batteries since I have multiple Dewalt battery tools, including a fast recharging station. ... show more

I purchased this on sale with a discount. Total was $110.00. I wouldn't be blowing the yard with this. It's not super strong and getting the cut grass out of the uncut grass takes a while with a corded blower. It's definitely not like my red Toro corded electric blower. BUT it works perfect for my bbq area, my front/rear porches. These areas are concrete and paver brick. It will blow that surface off just fine. For the price I would buy again. I definitely wouldn't buy if it was over that price. I say buy it if you plan on blowing off concrete/brick. Or areas of the yard that doesn't have grass like maybe flower bed areas. If you use it on a grass lawn you will be overworking it and going through batteries like no tomorrow. For my needs mentioned above, I love this blower. ... show more

I bought this to blow leaves out from a rock bed. Pretty straight forward assembly. Works pretty good and doesn’t seam to chew thru batteries. I used it for a total of about 15-20 minutes on a 5ah battery and still had about half of the battery left. Worked on the leaves pretty well, it did not do se well on the pine needles as I with them getting wedged in the rocks. If you have the DeWalt battery line of tools this would be a great add. ... show more

A solid lightweight unit. Some might find underpowered. Can get 10 or 15 minutes of full power use per battery. Best to have extra batteries for larger jobs. I find it to be somewhat underpowered. For instance you will not blow many wet leaves off of things. Works well for most lightweight duties

I was pleasantly surprised. Blew out the 25 x 25 carport parking pad 30 x 60 and drive 12 x 150 quickly and efficiently while using less than 1/3 of a generic 12 amp battery. I was surprised the "concentrator" or plastic whatever stuck on the tip seemed to impede performance. No clue why it was included ... show more

Keep in mind, I've only tested this so far. Very lightweight and feels very well balanced to use. The tube and the smaller piece snap on very easily. I've seen people say they have a hard time getting the tube off, but in my case, I really don't see a need for that, unless I get one of those small attachments for drying vehicles. Which I think this is strong enough to do a good job. Especially in grills and places where there are lots of small cracks and crevices that are always a pain. I.E. Side mirrors. It blows very strong for this price, and I have a ton of Dewalt batteries, so I'm really happy with this. Everything looks brand new to me. I recommend it for house work and some bigger jobs. Even some professional work where you aren't clearing a football field FOR AMAZON IF THEY READ THIS Side note: I'm always worried about deliveries being left right out in the open instead of inside my enclosed porch like I have in my delivery instructions and on a full page, laminated note on my window. There are only 3 steps to my screen door and you don't have to walk up them to put items in. I've had a lot of things stolen recently, so I was super happy to see this inside since I'm not home for every delivery, or monitoring every second of the day. I have one more delivery coming tomorrow that I'm praying gets put inside. So far, it has only been cheap items stolen, but I'm scared for the day a 500 dollar item could be taken. Just a side thing. It really is a massive issue when that happens. I've been refunded, but it screws up contracted work and I have to either pay a ton for an emergency item or order all over again, hoping it won't happen another time. As a tool-only purchase, it slots perfectly into my existing DEWALT 20V battery ecosystem. The motor delivers impressive performance for its compact size with the included concentrator nozzle, which makes short work of dry leaves, grass clippings, and light dust on patios or driveways. Compared to my old Ryobi battery-powered blower, this DEWALT is a massive upgrade—much stronger airflow and speed that cuts through wet leaves and pine needles way faster, without the constant battery swaps that plagued the Ryobi. Works as advertised. Got the larger 5V batteries separately (have other DEWALT devices, do NOT buy knock off batteries...they are cheaper for a bad reason). Each charge lasts about 20 minutes of continuous use (enough for my driveway, patio and lower deck just to blow and clear).
